What do you think his next single(s) is gonna be?
I think Lock All The Doors and maybe The Dying Of The Light

I'd say Lock all the Doors. But if he doesn't release another, I'd be okay with that too. I think he's already bored of this album and ready to get the next one going.

I've gotta say I kind of agree, Riverman & The Right Stuff are my go to tunes, I'd actually be more excited If this remix EP that is supposedly happening is announced. I'm actually starting to prefer the BTWS version of Riverman and would like to hear if Massive Attack actually made a remix or not.

Judging by his last gig he doesn't look bored at all...

You Know We Can't Go Back would be the wise choice, but it's probably going to be Lock All the Doors, based on how he's been playing it so much on all the TV programs he's been on.

This record doesn't stand the test of time as of right now. 3 months later, i have no urge to listen to it. I blame the production to a certain point. It's good, but it's not diverse at all. All of the songs seem to get the similar compressed, brickwalled production. After listening to it numerous times, it gets fatiguing, as a result, and why some people may get tired of the album. I'm not completely tired of it quite yet, but I just wish there would be some diversity or clarity in the production, instead of it sounding rather muddy on almost every track.

I prefer both of the Beyond The Wizards Sleeve versions of Riverman and Ballad of The Mighty I, they are excellent and I love the vibe of them. I'm really looking forward to the remix EP should it happen and I also can't wait to hear if Massive Attack have got involved with a remix. There is already a promo CD for The Dying of the Light and it has been getting regular airplay on French and Italian radio. It is possible it is just a radio single for Europe but it wouldn't surprise me if it gets a full release as Riverman seemed to be Noel's choice for a single whereas the label will want something more mainstream around the festival period.

I just know it won't be 'You Know We Can't Go Back' But it should be Yeah i agree, lots of people said (including myself perfect summer tune), its good live tune so a good hook for festivals casuals to buy and then get album. I'm hoping Jim is right and the dying of light is just a euro radio single, for me its not a great noel ballad song, and i think would sink faster than riverman. i said in another thread but as he said there wont be a 2nd uk leg this year find so so strange (even the clapham gig now billed as noels last london show of 2015). i just don't know how gonna keep momentum until mid 2016? if thats when leg 2 of uk tour is obv it does leave a window for CY remix ep / album and maybe xmas BHN reissue?

I have a feeling The Dying Of The Light will be the next single since the promos are going around, but I'd love to see Lock All The Doors be a single too. I don't get the appeal of You Know We Can't Go Back.

I don't get the appeal of You Know We Can't Go Back. Yeah makes sense tho the fact only been in europe, (which is where he did the acoustic version, maybe just thinking it'll work there?) The dying of the light could get traction released october time when its getting cold and depressing but don't think people want that in the summer sort of tune. For me You know we can't go back is cheesy summer pop, you can just see it on adverts or a theme tune for some rubbish U.S sitcom .. but think ultimately biggest chance for him to expand his audience en masse. Id love Lock all the Doors to be a single as again great tune and will appeal to wider audience this time of year.

I hope it isn't The Dying Of The Light. Considering the demo was released a few months ago, I don't think it will be either.
I've got a feeling it'll be Lock All The Doors, although You Know We Can't Go Back would by my choice.

I hope he will release an live album or live EP. I also hope a few new b-sides. Damn, I miss the time where his first album had many different versions with extra tracks like The Good Rebel or Simple Game Of Genius

It doesn't really matter what he picks. It will chart somewhere at #365 and will disappear again after 2 weeks.
Having said that, I think it'll be Lock All The Doors but I would pick You Know We Can't Go Back.

What I hope...
August - you know we can't go back / here's a candle
November - lock all the Doors / something new
February - a new EP with at least 2 new songs plus Freaky teeth

I hope he will never release She Must Be One Of Us, that demo is horrible, worser than All In The Mind

I think Lock All The Doors although I'm hoping The Dying Of The Light.
Evertime I listen to Lock All The Doors, especially live, I say to myself "Noel, why didn't you let your brother sing this song when you were still together?"
Anyway, which colour will it be next time?
