Some Might Say, when they play it live I've never got the feeling of the studio version. The intro is on studio version way better than live, also the guitarwall is great on the studio version. Best Oasis tune to me by the way.
Falling Down, don't know why
Better Man, I don't understand why it was written, I don't understand why it was put on Heathen Chemistry, I don't understand that Liam thought he was gonna be a Better Man and I don't understand why it was played live.
Stop Crying Your Heart Out, beautiful song but Liam never could sing it as the studio version. And the intro with Noel on guitar pisses me off
Bring It On Down, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Morning Glory, D'You Know What I Mean?, Gas Panic!, Lyla, Ain't Got Nothing

Be Here Now is far better live than in the studio.
I've never heard a live version of Slide Away that matches the studio version.

I never thought Oasis were the best live band. Granted, I've never been to one of their gigs, but from bootlegs it always seems that the band is never playing as well as they do on record. Especially Liam and Noel's vocals. They always seem to sound better in the studio.

Slightly off topic but...
Something that always annoys me about 'Gas Panic!' when it's played live is that Liam cuts off his vocal early when he sings 'panic is on the way'.That kind of thing usually wound't bother me but you can always clearly hear the studio vocals being played underneath the live vocals so after he's finished singing you can still hear 'waaaaaayyyyyyy' being sung.

Noel vocals on Acquiesce are very much edited, because the vocals of Noel at the white room or live by the sea are very bad

Live - cigarettes and Alcohol, Rock n Roll Star, Supersonic, Born On A Different Cloud...i could go on but my preference is live music so most.
Studio - alot of the not so rock n roll ones sunday morning call, stop crying your heart out, magic pie, (RIVERMAN)

To Be Where There's Life is great live just ok on the record. Better Man is fairly boring on the record but good live (especially the amazing MTV Superdry performance).

For oasis only. I guess , I was ready to come up with dozens that DONT measure up live .......but for oasis .....
studio version better than live
DYKWIM Slide away Wtsmg AATW Hindu times Don't go away Listen up Supersonic
Better live than studio Lyla C&A Masterplan R&R Star
Only reason I say better live is the crowds really got amped up for those , either by singing every note or GOIN mental ......or both

Headshrinker is without a doubt better live.
I genuinely can't listen to the studio version, but love it live.
