I've been listening to this album on repeat for almost a month. I love it. My favourites, apart from the singles, are Cool Brunette and Three Streets and a Village Green.

Been looking forward to this for a while. Was very interested to hear how they were going to evolve from the predominately Yardbirds type raveups on the first album.
Just had a first listen and loving it. I get what folks are saying above about the NME style hype, but it seems to me this lot have some real talent. I love the intensity and the solos (guess it helps to have Jeff Beck give you guitar lessons). I too had questions regarding their ability to write songs. Quite pleased with this release, so for me, questions answered.
Hope they make it to the US. I will road trip to see this band if necessary.

I don't see any NME type. The album won't sell really well indeed, I guess

Considering that it's the NME,the last line of that review made me laugh out loud

Yeah, I can't see any "press hype" around them, the press quite hate them indeed. They have more respect from people like Noel, Dave Grohl, Elton John etc.

Their 3rd album was released today. Haven't listened to it yet. It's amazing that this is their 3rd album and their singer, Ross Farrelly, is still only 19

It's not gonna rule the planet but it sure is fun. The first 5 songs don't do a lot for for me but the back half of the record, I'm down with.

Meat and Potatoes stuff, really lacking a killer tune to stamp their mark. But they are really a top live act especially for guys who aren't even over 20 yet. I like their first two albums, nothing life changing. Love their new song Very Squeeze like. With a little guidance I could these lads been a very good act in years to come.
