I've been watching their performance on you tube Ciggs and Alcohol, MOS, MG: Rock and Roll Star DLBIA: FUCKIN AMAZING!! Liam sounds on top form again. This is promising!! Cool as fuck. Best band in the world still! MAD FER IT!  cant wait for their new album...late 2007? early 2008? THEY STILL HAVE IT *Edit: I see that there's a similar post. Missed oppertunity my arse! Best performance in ages. Energetic, great vocals, strong setlist....deserve all their awards they have gotten thus far....and many more to come. This was a mind blowing performance. The guitar solos were MENTAL! Unbelievable |

Fuckin' legendary man! I agree with you, the performance is top, the band is on fire and Liam sounds pretty good. Love how they threw in TMOS, nice little surprise.
Only disappointment is that Zak didn't do the 2nd drum bit after the solo, think he'd know about it by now! Made up for it in RnR Star, what a fuckin' drummer!

He looked really cool, so did the rest of the band, and they played brilliantly, but Liam sounded shite. And before anybody jumps on me with some rant about "is not 1995 anymore" etc, I know its not, Im not expecting him to sound like he did back then, all Im saying is that his vocals sounded pretty much shite the other night. |

compared to the 2005 tour, he was top. Liam hasnt sounded this good for a while....
i think it has to deal with 2 factors: a.) maturing of his voice, b.) his new stance....
he voice seems a bit constrained, and it takes awhile to wam up....the only thing he needs to work on is finishing words in a line of lyrics....he pulls away way too soon.....

yeah i agree live4ever was a good performance.it does took him a few songs to warm up as the brits showed because rock n roll star he sounded the best i thought

As I have stated in other posts: He really wasnt as bad as I expected (after reading some of the posts)but i agree w/ live4ever that he is pulling off to soon and mis prounouncing certain words. I feel his voice hasnt been the same since his teeth got knocked out. I read that Elvis Costello never had work to alter the space between his two front teeth out of fear of altering his voice. All in all this was not a bad performance and on rnr star there were flashes of old.
It is certainly hard to compare this performance w/ some of the live versions of Lyla from the last tour. I agree it is not BHN era but not as bad as so many are saying.
