I think they made a really great record. Ghost Ship is my song of the year so far! Also Go Out, Ong Ong and Lonesome Street are great...

I thoroughly expected it to be underwhelming, but upon first listen I thought hey this is pretty good, and now after a few weeks listening I think its great! Particularly like 'I Broadcast', love the intro, quite different and exciting.
I like it!

Where would you rank it with Oasis albums?

Where would you rank it with Oasis albums? Hmm, now that's tough since Oasis is obviously my preference, but right now I'd say: Definitely Maybe (What's The Story) Morning Glory Be Here Now Don't Believe The Truth Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants The Magic WhipDig Out Your Soul Heathen Chemistry I definitely prefer it to HC and DOYS as an album, and it's only just behind DBTT and SOTSOG

Great album - I really mean it. Second time I heard it in full I knew it was special - it works so well because it is an amalgamation of everything Blur have done so it still has that sense of novelty by looking forward, but also has a cosy familiarity to it as well with nods to the past.
It is arguable to suggest that the latter albums took on more individualistic pursuits (with Think Tank being completely Damon for obvious reasons) but this album has the perfect balance between the Damon and Graham where both have been in sychronicity with each other - for me, Thought I Was A Spaceman epitomises this. Big shout out to Stephen Street for recording such a cohesive album.

Where would you rank it with Oasis albums? Oh definitely better than any Oasis album from 2000 onwards for me. Perhaps no individual song reaches the heights of, say, Gas Panic, but it achieves a consistency and quality that Oasis failed to do after Morning Glory.

Great. 10/10, not a bad song on it.

I like a few songs on it, and I like another few a lot, but you won't find me listening to the album in it's entirety. I've done that twice or something, so for me it's above average.

S'alright. Like U2, I just can't find any given set of Blur songs more than ok. I don't dislike them, there's some good tunes here but if I could never listen to it again I really wouldn't care.

The new Blur album sounds like a bunch of people who are now Uncles and Dads and trying to be 20 years younger. Its admirable but painful at the same time.
