Hello.

I am currently studying for an HNC in Radio Broadcasting in Aberdeen. For a part of our course we have to produce a thirty minute documentary on a subject of our choice… of course I chose the mighty Oasis!

The documentary will go through their history, highlight their albums, and speak to people within the media industry who know the Gallagher brothers.

This is where I need your help. I want your views on the band. Any stories you may have. Your favourite song and why. You first experiences. Any time you’ve seen them live.

Because it’s a radio course, naturally I need your views in audio form. Rather than get all your numbers and arrange times to call you all, I've setup a handy voice mail service. If you choose one of those subjects to speak about, and it can be anything from 20 seconds to 2 minutes long... its up to you!

Its a local rate number, so won't cost much to call (and possibly free if you have a mobile contract with free minutes).

There'll be a little message, and after the beep it's up to you...

Your message could go along the line of:

"Hi my name is David, and I'm an Oasis fan. My favourite track would be Slide Away because it reminds me of great times. I've seen the band live twice and both times were absolutely amazing." or something to that effect.

If you want to include your email address on the message, I can email you to personally thank you and give you a copy of the documentary once it is finished. Of course I will cut your email address out of the audio before using it!

All the audio will be edited, so feel free to make as many stuff ups, pauses while you think what ever. And I'll be the only person who ever hears the unedited pieces.
