Lola is one of the most charming Kinks song. Lyla is a solid Oasis single. I personally think Layla, and Clapton for that matter are two of the most overrated artists and songs in rock n roll history but I can recognize that its a bit better than Lyla, even though I probably have played Lyla 50 more times. Also I've seen the guitar Layla was written on which is pretty cool. Lola is a couple steps better than the other two songs for me.

Also Zapp Brannigan sang Lola so that only helps.

That fucking awesome guitar riff, that solo, that coda, the subject of the song!

Having said that, I love Lyla and Lola too. Lyla makes me want to jump and you just HAVE to sing along. Lola is a good song by one of my favourite bands, and a very underrated one.
