By reforming i mean also just playing gigs together not necessarily recording together. I'm curious to see how the real fans think about this. I personally think a reunion would be all for the wrong reasons and mainly just to please liams huge ego (and noels too if he does it of course). It's no wonder liam would do it immediately as he said-since he's got nothing else to give musically. I really started to dislike liam after he quit beady eye. They where putting out some great music i thought and they where all getting along- but liams ego wasn't satisfied and he could not accept that he isn't this big anymore which is a shame. Also his super childish mongo twitter posts just show how retardet he is. In the end of course they both need to grow up But Noel doesn't need it and i hope he never does it - also because the stuff he does now is great!

I wonder how many split bands forums would vote against that band reforming.

I wonder how many split bands forums would vote against that band reforming. I can tell you two, The Smiths and Abba. On the case of Oasis there is the thing that it would be almost certain to have a greatest hits tour and then nothing else, which is nice for the casual fans but not enough staisfying for us folks in here.

I hope they release one more album, maybe a tour, but I want to hear Liam singing Noel's songs again.

yes it would be great for an oasis album with all tracks written by noel gallagher and sung by liam.
but oasis from 1999 - 2009 we only got 4 to 6 noel songs per album(if we were lucky)
i would never want oasis to reform as oasis take 2 (andy, gem, various drummer)
no disrespect to them as songwriters or musicians( i loved gem archer and noel at live shows)
but oasis broke up 6 years ago, do we talk about any of the liam, gem or andy tracks as highly as noel ones.
if were lucky over the next 10 years we will get 2 more noel solo albums, which is far better than any oasis song writing shared album.

SOTSOG wasn't a songwriting Democracy album
You can't class it in the same bracket as HC, DBTT and DOYS,
Gem and Andy weren't on it at all and Liam only wrote one song,
In fact SOTSOG is arguably as close to a Noel solo album as any Oasis album ever got

Yes but only if they released a new album and that album had ~90% Noel written songs on it.

Yes, if they release an album, or at least a few new songs. Otherwise no.

As a fan, I have a terrible not saying Yes. I would absolutely love seeing the brothers back together & performing, even if it meant watching it on a festival stream of some sort. If we're talking a complete reunion, I'd hope for an 11 track album with 9 NG tracks, and two LG tracks (to appease him ).

I've never had the chance to see Oasis. From a selfish perspective I'd like to see them live. And I'd like to hear Liam sing Noel's songs again.
But I don't know how I feel about a reunion yet, only because Oasis haven't, in the scheme of things, been broken up that long. If they reformed soon for a big reunion tour, people would say the whole thing was contrived to make money. And I really don't think it was.
So I'd like the door to be open to a reunion in a few years. If We got a reformed Oasis, I'd like it to be closer to MK1 than MK2 (Noel-Written Songs!!!) but I'd like to see them move forward, I wouldn't want them to become a 'heritage band'. And for them to move forward, I think Noel needs to continue moving his music forward, and Liam needs to establish a project on his own terms, if only to work out for himself what he wants to accomplish musically. Let them each have at least another solo album
