It's already out, if you look into the right places. Gonna wait it out. You had a listen? I'm in the middle of the album right now. I liked the opener. It's really good so far.

Visions Of A Life is pretty good. I've enjoyed the Creature Songs EP when it came out, was a fan of their debut My Love Is Cool and this is almost at the same level. Almost. I don't think it's as consistent, as an album, as is My Love Is Cool. I profoundly question the production at parts – and I also did it with their debut: there's times where's better to keep it simple, especially at acoustic passages, and Wolf Alice doesn't seem to have learned it. Overall it's a quite good record, indeed. There's a lot going on in the songs, and while some highly benefit from this, others... not really. I'd give it a solid 7.5/10. A quick track-by-track – and these are obviously just my two cents: 1. HeavenwardOne of the highlights for me. Very shoegaze-y, powerfully atmospheric and works surprisingly well as an opener. It's got something very unique within its production, managing to sound dirty and clean at the same time. 8/102. Yuk FooThe first single. I liked it when it came out and I've still got a soft spot for it, but I think it doesn't make much sense within the tracklisting. Actually, I think the first 4 songs don't work that well together. Fortunately that's something that changes as the album goes on. 7/103. Beautifully Unconventional
A nice little tune. It's catchy as hell, you can dance to it, and I can see why it was chosen as a single. HEATHER!!! 7.5/104. Don't Delete The Kisses
Now that's another level. Okay, the lyrics may be a bit too corny at times, but the melody on this is superb. The way it just goes and goes into the explosive, unbelievable powerful choruses is magical. One of my favourite tracks of the year. 9/105. Planet Hunter
For some reason the start reminds me of Bowie. It's got a lovely build up to the full band part and I like how they used the vocals to do it. Prefer the verses to the chorus, to be honest. The heavy, distorted end is a fine little moment. 7.5/106. Sky Musings
Very, very intriguing. Don't even try predicting the melody on this one. Ellie just keeps talking/singing while the notes go up and down and it slowly builds up with the chaotic drumbeat. They've made it good keeping it short, but the ending was disappointing. It kinda doesn't go anywhere. 6.5/107. Formidable CoolThe main riff reminds me of Kings Of Leon's best works, and I gotta say: I love the groove. The chorus is quite unexpected, although I'm not too keen on it. Maybe I just didn't expect it to build up from rage. The song goes on-and-off, and I think they've got a nice balance in this one. 7/108. Space & TimeYou Know We Can't Go Back anyone? that's probably the first (and last) filler of the entire album. The break is lovely, but that's about it. Other than that it sounds like this huge, endless chorus. The production is again aggressive, but I don't think this song actually benefits from it. 4.5/109. SadboyThe first piece of music that actually made me think that, hey, this could've been into My Love Is Cool. The outro around the 2:20 mark sounds very menacious and then it gets kinda groovy, just for a short period of time, preparing itself to explode again – and be careful with your ears: the mid-high frequencies can be annoyingly unbearable. I'm not really sure what to make of this one. 6/1010. St. Purple & GreenAnother highlight for me. Love how Ellie's voice floats and flies through the layers of sound through the song, especially in the verses/bridge. The outro is outstanding and one of the album's greatest moments. 8/1011. After The Zero HourThe melody in this is gorgeous. I don't think the song needed the screaming ethereal harmonies though – and I'm usually a fan of Ellie harmonizing with herself. 6.5/1012. Visions Of A LifeThat's crazy. A beast of a tune. It's kinda like Giant Peach's big sister, in a way. The heavy, powerful thunderous riffs are there, but I don't think it flows as well as it could've done. It ends much better than it starts, in my opinion. And it does a truly great job closing the album. 7.5/10

I love some of their singles, their albums though, not so much. Lacks consistency. Don't Delete The Kisses is my current song of the year.

Exploring them right now.
Don't Delete the Kisses - the first tune of theirs I just listened to, and it's very good. Going to download both their albums right now. Nice one.
Also, London represent!

I first discovered Wolf Alice due to Silk being played on the Trainspotting 2 trailer.
And then I listened to their album on Spotify and thought they were really good so instantly became a fan. Ellie has a great voice.

One of my favourite bands atm. Not sure how I heard of them for the first time but I was impressed.
This EP is so good! Nosedive is probably my favourite, great indie pop vibe in it.
I haven't listened to their new album that much yet but Don't Delete The Kisses, Heavenward and Beautifully Unconventional are all amongst my favourite songs from 2017. And they all sound totally different!

After one listen to their second album, the debut is so much better (incredible album, mind). But that's only after one listen....

Well, this band confirms my theory : every recent artist/act Beady’s Here Now defends is actually shit. Well done, Beady.

People slag off the band name the Arctic Monkeys. I have never understood that. I have always liked that as a band name. It looks good on paper (and therefore in the spotlights), and it rolls off the tongue.
You know what name is bad, though? Wolf Alice.
Maybe that's all because I've known about the Arctic Monkeys since 2005 and only Wolf Alice since last week so maybe once I become more familiar with Wolf Alice, I'll change my mind. But no, I'm not keen on the name Wolf Alice.

I would've bet everything you were gonna quote me for that. It was only a joke, chill out. I just tease him on a band I find uninspired. As he does himself with Radiohead. That's all.
