Bros' performance was pretty shocking for their standards, Ellie almost went out of tune.
And BBC still put it on Youtube as the only song, meh.

My Love is Cool charted at #2, Florence #1 with only 500 copies sold more than Wolf Alice. What a shame!

I've listened to the album but I have to say I'm not that impressed.
It's a bit dull, imho. It works great as background music but I haven't found a track that really stands out, or that makes me think "Wow, now this is great". I really liked Moaning Lisa Smile though!
This may be an unpopular opinion on here, but give me Florence over Wolf Alice any day (not that they're comparable, really, very different genres).

My comment about the chart thing it wasn't because I don't like Florence. I would have said the same if it was Noel and not her. She already got her #1 album, she's famous and Wolf Alice are not. And in 2015 is always nice to see an alternative rock band, under an independent label, charting at #1! I was looking forward to the album based kn the EPs which are great but it's just alright, nothing special. I saw them at Glastonbury and the new songs came across well live but it just highlighted how much stronger the older stuff like Blush, Storms and Moaning Lisa Smile is. Giant Peach is the only one off the new album that I'd say is as good as those songs. |

This is truly a great debut album. So many different influences and styles of music flow throughout this album. My favorites are Bros, Lisbon, Your Loves Whore, Swallowtail, Freazy, and You're a Germ  |
