Ask about the demoes if you can - the ones we only know the names of like Slow, but also stuff like Come On It's Alright and Bye Bye My Family (or whatever we call it right now). Will those ever see the light of day? We sort of know what the answer will be to that, the same answers he always gives "i've always got 30 songs in the bank", "didn't fit the flow on the album, will be on the next one". I do think it's crimuinal though how Don't Stop The Happening has been left virtually ignored though. It's one of Noel's most beautiful songs, even in that shoddy quality soundcheck version.

I'm not sure Noel's gonna be the lengthy anecdote type however an answer to any of these questions would be amazing. "In ALL of your interviews you've said that the original verses to ' Lock All The Doors' went to The Chemical Brother's ' Setting Sun', however the 1993 demos we have suggest that the songs original verses were rather used in ' My Sister Lover' and the verses that went to 'Setting Sun' came from a different demoed song ' Coming on Strong'. Does this ring true?" "Whatever happened to the song ' Slow' which was rumoured to be part of the Be Here Now sessions?" "Whatever happened to the song ' The Red, The White & The Blue'?" "Why did Oasis leave so many strong songs off Dig Out Your Soul (' Come On Outside', ' Record Machine', ' Stop The Clocks', ' The Boy with the Blues' etc.) as the album would have surely been better off with them on it?" For gods sake don't ask the last one. I would think that asking a question like that is a surefire way to screw up any rapport you hoped to build or burn bridges for another interview even if you save until last. How could he possibly answer that in a satisfying way? You already know that he says RM and STC at least weren't done because of Liam regardless of whether that is the truth. So why ask again? Especially couched in a question that implies a lack of quality in Oasis's output Also the first one? Seriously what is the purpose other than to passive aggressively throw in his face that he's been telling the story wrong in a way that doesn't really matter at all. The point of the story is that he used the original verses on another tune and could release it until he wrote news ones. This board gets so worked up in the semantics though.

I'd much rather a video webcam chat like he's done before.....the man is a great story teller, which will get lost in text format.
And you better bet your house that I'll be spamming with Oasis questions. Bank it.

I think I'll ask him if he has seen the Kurt Cobain documentary at all....and maybe what I should have said to my friend, who I took to Noel's concert in Vegas a few years ago. All he did was text on his phone...and I paid for his ticket.

I'm probably going to ask about the Be Here Now reissue. Let's be honest that's the biggest one (for us anyway).

It's my birthday May 1st so maybe I'll ask him to bring me some cake! I mean he's in town, for god's sake LOL
Seriously though, no idea what I'd ask him! I'm also not cool enough to be on Reddit, so no account yet and don't know if I should bother signing up.
I do like that question about the chant in Columbia and what happened to The Red White and Blue

Listen, this interview is going to be held on reddit with likely hundred of people asking questions, so the chances are it's going to be swamped pretty quickly. Noel's unlikely to answer long-ass questions or single long posts filled with many, hence the plan on posting each question separately, making the extremely unlikely chance of him replying a hopefully slightly less remote one, as it makes it easier on his part and more inviting for him to pick and choose amongst them. "My hope to build or burn bridges for another interview"? Err what? I wasn't asking about the specifics of each song, I'm simply questioning the frankly bizarre decision that Oasis took to deliberately and knowingly release an album so obviously and dramatically reduced in quality. Do you not find it weird that a band would make this decision? Especially one that has been so overshadowed by the successes of it's past. I'm not trying to kiss Noel's arse here, as successful as that technique maybe in this process. I was simply bringing up the point of what seems like a bad move on their part. Noel's a honest guy who can take (and has taken) more than his fair share of criticism. This isn't a horrible stab against him, it's an understandable question that someone may ask given the lack of information or context, something I'm sure Noel would easily understand. This one I found pretty amusing. To put it frankly... you're just wrong. If questions like this are never asked how is the history of the band to be written with any kind of authentic accuracy? His point raises more questions than it answers and flies in the face of what we understood to be true. Chasing up these questions is something I believe to be a good cause for Oasis fans and will help us widen our knowledge about the band we all so love. If you think otherwise I'm all ears to hearing your questions.

I really hope that Noel doesn't pull a Woody Harrelson on us and only answer questions about HFB and the new album.
