"Noel, what does the title 'Chasing Yesterday' mean?"
"How did you come up with the song 'Riverman'?"
"What's it like to work with Johnny Marr?"
"What was it like producing the album by yourself?"
"Are Oasis reforming?"
If anyone asks any of those questions then I'll...I'll...well, I don't really know but I won't be best pleased!

Someone should posts those Q&A in the AmA thread so people dont ask them, you can thank me latter.

I'm really surprised this is happening. Several months back I checked to see if he had ever done one or anyone submitted a request, and someone did but alot of people said since he hates computers he wouldn't. Man this is interesting!!! I want to know though how many are actually going to be commenting considering he's not as much a popular artist (outside of the UK) compared to others. And what Manualex said about the obvious questions, he's right. They never check the posts until its around the time the AMA begins. I know Manualex, World71R and dadrocker are on reddit as well, but what questions should we ask?

I have no idea what any of this means AMAs on reddit (Ask Me Anythings) are basically ways famous authors, artists, actors, etc. just famous people can interact with the public in a format in which the audience asks questions and they answer. Of course they can't answer everything, especially if they get a question a second, but these days the more famous ones cherry pick. Victoria, one of reddit's staff, works with alot of these people and picks and answers questions on the behalf of the person being interviewed by reddit. Here is the wiki on reddit for it: www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/wiki/index

In this case, an Oasis question wouldn't be that bad to dispel the whole "gentlemans agreement" rumour.

NICE, time to write up some questions, gotta get in early for this. I despair how many fucking Oasis reunion questions there will be instead of actual interesting questions

NICE, time to write up some questions, gotta get in early for this. I despair how many fucking Oasis reunion questions there will be instead of actual interesting questions I hope that Victoria or whoever will assist him with the IAMA pick the most interesting question and not only the Oasis ones and the same old crappy questions. The thing is that the questions that are the the most likely to be answered in Reddit IAMA is the most upvoted ones. If the redditors upvote shit questions we will most likely get the same old questions. All the people from here who are registered in Reddit, must upvote the interesting questions. I think if we can manage doing that, it's our only chance to get some interesting answers from Noel.

Hopefully he actually is doing the reading/typing and not an assistant communicating through text...

I'm not sure Noel's gonna be the lengthy anecdote type however an answer to any of these questions would be amazing.
"In ALL of your interviews you've said that the original verses to 'Lock All The Doors' went to The Chemical Brother's 'Setting Sun', however the 1993 demos we have suggest that the songs original verses were rather used in 'My Sister Lover' and the verses that went to 'Setting Sun' came from a different demoed song 'Coming on Strong'. Does this ring true?"
"Whatever happened to the song 'Slow' which was rumoured to be part of the Be Here Now sessions?"
"Whatever happened to the song 'The Red, The White & The Blue'?"
"Why did Oasis leave so many strong songs off Dig Out Your Soul ('Come On Outside', 'Record Machine', 'Stop The Clocks', 'The Boy with the Blues' etc.) as the album would have surely been better off with them on it?"

Great questions there, I hope these get asked. I would add in that long standing question... where was the chant in the demo of Columbia sampled from? Still a mystery, that one.

Ask about the demoes if you can - the ones we only know the names of like Slow, but also stuff like Come On It's Alright and Bye Bye My Family (or whatever we call it right now). Will those ever see the light of day?

I hope a lot of users from this forum take part in the AMA, this could be a really cool interview and the best chance we've ever had to ask interesting questions.
