Just curious about the number of times people seen noel/oasis live. My mates think I'm addicted but pretty sure there's people here who have been way more times.
My totals Oasis 12 Noel solo 3 beady/eye 2 NGHFB 8
25 times + 1 other if I count sitting at the metro station and "watching" them from there at LCCC.

I've only seen Noel once, but in June I'll see him for a second time.
Kinda bummed that by the time I got into Oasis, they had already split up. Noel's first album had even been released already!

Wow. I haven't really known of people to get into oasis after they were now more. Interesting! Can't imagine where you would start or what your perspective on each album would be ( for example what BHN means to you )?

Oasis - Never. Turned down the chance to go because I was young and foolish.
Beady Eye - Never. The week leading up to the gig I became too ill to go.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Once. And it was excellent.

Wow. I haven't really known of people to get into oasis after they were now more. Interesting! Can't imagine where you would start or what your perspective on each album would be ( for example what BHN means to you )? Well, I had known some of the songs, the hits mainly, and I had British MTV for a few years, so I knew the singles off DBTT and DOYS, but the gossip about the Gallaghers and the whole "omygod they rip off everything especially The Beatles" thing always threw me off, especially since they have been my favourite band for well, nearly my whole life, and I was on a forum, so my judgement got clouded a bit. Then I heard The Death Of You And Me and I thought "hey that isn't half bad" and then I once found some documentary about Britpop somewhere, and DLBIA at TOTP was the end of it, and I paid attention to the song and the lyrics and I was wondering why I never listened to Oasis and why I never got how amazing this song was, while I had known it since it came out, pretty much. And then I went on Youtube and listened to it multiple times in a row and then checked out other songs, and interviews. It all went from there. It's so strange how a song you have known for 15/16 years can suddenly just click.
