Yeah but Round Are Way is just a horrible "song" in general  I used to really dislike 'Round Are Way' due to it's overbearing pompous orchestral arrangement (dated, no?) however the song underneath has finally began to grow on me. Lyrically it's pretty cute, in a cheeky schoolboy kind of way. I think all of those songs I listed above have (like TheEscapist has just mentioned) a slightly cheesy sound, with 'Whatever' being the least 'worse offender'. |

I might get flame for saying this but I never saw the appeal in the importance of being idle, the guitar solo is beautiful but other than that its just alright for me, I think the only reason its seen as one of the best was because it was released in the later part of oasis when there wasnt too many amazing songs being written by noel.
Im not saying its a bad song or an average song but I dont put up there with their earlier stuff.

This is getting HARD.
It's a real tossup between Whatever and Gas Panic, but GP is better by a hair because of its moody, dark, and experimental qualities.
So I vote for Whatever, despite it being one of the best Oasis songs ever. But that's why it's on this list, right?
