Whatever TIOBI is surely a better song? Good grief no! Well I certainly disagree. Noel & Liam do too: 'Whatever' is a great song, but it's one of the few Oasis tracks that actually have a bit of a dated sound. Not too mention it's a rip of 'How Sweet To Be An Idiot'. Neil Inns even has a songwriting credit.

I can listen to Whatever whenever and still feels a great listen to, TIOBI on the other hand, I have to be in a vertain mood to listen to it

Nothing else in the fucking song sounds the same. I love both Whatever and TIOBI. Whatever doesn't sound dated to me at all. It has aged gracefully.

Nothing else in the fucking song sounds the same. I love both Whatever and TIOBI. Whatever doesn't sound dated to me at all. It has aged gracefully. Of course the whole song isn't a rip, but the line in question that is, just so happens to be one of the biggest hooks on the entire track. Arguably the song should also have another songwriting credit given to one of The Real People who wrote the string arrangements (which I think Noel then wrote the song around). I personally find the not very subtle orchestration to sound pretty dated. It's very 90's... and not in a flattering way. Same applies to 'Round Are Way', 'All Around The World' and 'All Around The World (Reprise)' . Like I said, 'Whatever' is great song rip or no rip and the fact it has even reached this elimination proves it ('Four Letter Word' being the exception in my opinion however). That said 'The Importance of Being Idle' is the better of two for me.

Yeah but Round Are Way is just a horrible "song" in general
