Its a fantastic single, all 4 songs are just brilliant. The sound of Noel at his songwriting peak Remember just playing Acquiese over and over when the single came out, couldn't believe it was just a b-side.

Found out a while ago that I misheard some of the lyrics Official version Lost in a fog Up a tree like a dog And I'm out of here And my version: Lost in a fog I've been treated like a dog And I'm out of here

Remember just playing Acquiese over and over when the single came out, couldn't believe it was just a b-side. My history book says : "A great band has as much as great B-sides as great A-sides", but Moz/Marr and Noel Gallagher say "No, they even have more great B-sides than great A-sides". D'yer know what I mean?

Doesnt get any better. I knew you would say so, jilliam. I've read once that young Noel was inspired to write loads of great B-sides for him by listening to The Smiths B-sides. Can you ever imagine the songs like "What difference does it make?", "Jean", "Handsome Devil", "Asleep", "Rubber Ring", "Please please please let me get what I want" and loads of more were written for B-sides? Just amazing. Edit: "What difference does it make?" is an A-side, "Back to the old house" is the B-side of it. Sorry!

Technically, both are the right lyrics. Oasisinet has it like that, The Masterplan's booklet says the other. Considering Liam usually sings the latter, I would go with that one.
And, I must agree. Oasis put out some incredible singles during that time.
