Has it been announced, does anyone know, or do you think that we'll get a DVD of a gig in the same vein as International Magic?
I haven't been following Noel's tour, and actually had to look up the setlist online just now to see what he's been up to. Would be nice to have an official DVD release again....

It hasn't been announced, but I hope it will be. I doubt they are going to release a DVD for every tour, though.

I'd love it if we had something similar to Gold and Silver and Sunshine or some of those EPKs. Those were cool to watch since they went into the studio, or behind the scenes, and highlighted how everyone was working on either the tour or the album (like in G&S&S).
With a little bit of banter between Noel and some the guys added in and some behind-the-scenes stuff, I think it'd be quite neat.

I seem to remember Noel saying in an interview that he was going to be filmed backstage throughout his tour

I'm the same, I haven't kept track of the tour as much as I thought I would. Maybe that means I'll appreciate a DVD more if one comes out, I don't know.
Regardless, we're still getting that Knebworth DVD thing next year don't forget.

Whatever they say, they usually do the complete opposite. By that logic, does that mean today's reunion rumour is just another denial? #deception

I think the best he could do is playing Finsbury Park or Heaton Park (at the and of the day he can and it's the next step for his solo career) and releasing a DVD of it.

Sorry, that lost gig from 2002 is still knocking on my head, haha! About your idea, it would be very very interesting. He will come back with the tour next year, and with a good management, maybe it happen. He just need to pull off from O2.

Could he fill Wembley? Or City of Manchester Stadium?

Could he fill Wembley? Or City of Manchester Stadium? I'd say no,unless festivals this summer give him a HUUUUUUUUGE boost

If a DVD would be anything like the what was filmed from The Dome gig, I'd be very happy indeed.

Could he fill Wembley? Or City of Manchester Stadium? I highly doubt it. There was another thread a while back where we were debating stadiums vs arenas. In my mind, if Oasis reformed they'd still be able to fill stadiums in the UK easily, but neither Noel nor Liam would be able to do it on their own. Even with Noel's relative success with HFB, he is nowhere near the sales and chart popularity of the current biggest-selling pop/rock acts.

I'm still disappointed we never got a DVD of Finsbury from 2002. But lamboasis that's a good idea about Finsbury. It would make a nice change from the indoor O2 show of the previous DVD. Actually, I was thinking it'd be really great if Noel filmed a DVD in Ireland--the crowds there always seem excellent, like Manchester or Argentina (thinking of the incredible River Plate stadium performance in 2009).

But does it have to be gig from England? I'm sure there are plenty of good arenas with an awesome crowd. Why not a dvd from glasgow, for instance?
