I'm visiting London this spring and would like to know if there are any sites/ pubs/ shops that have something to do with OASIS that I can check out. any particular pubs the guys frequent, or used to... is camden high street worth my time? ... where could I get an oasis t-shirt? where should I get smashed?
thanks

cant really think of any myself, although finsbury park was the site of a 3 gigs in 2002. try marylebone for noel and camden high st is ok. upper street in islington is becoming a cool place to drink nowadays. and of course dont forget the street where the cover for whats the story was shot - i think its warwick street but i cant remember of the top of my head

Berwick Street in Soho is where they shot the front cover of What's the Story... Always good for a photo that.
The Waterrats pub/venue in King's Cross is where they played their first London gig.
As rpn101 says, Noel lives in Marylebone somewhere.
Then there's all the other venues they've played (Earl's Court, Astoria, Finsbury Park.....)

Yeah get yourself down to Soho. As mentioned this is where the cover for the album Morning Glory was shot. It is on Berwick Street. The road that runs across Berwick Street further down is called Noel Street. Stay around Soho and you will find some amazingly cool record shops. Little backstreet stores with amazing rare collectable items. Earls Court is a on the main tube line. Some good pubs round there. Earls Court is where Oasis played 2 x nights in 1995 and then 3 x nights in 1997. It's a massive venue and it's located across from the tube station. Why not get over to the new Wembley Stadium. It should be completed by the time you get there. Finsbury Park is not a lot to see really. It's in north London near Arsenal's football stadium. Not much point in travelling there really. Othere cool venues would be , The 100 Club, Water rats, Astoria and the Met Bar.
