In the BE track by track you hear Liam say that it's a 'Songbirdy' style song, which was of course about Nicole.
The lyrics for the chorus sound like they could have been written about her as well.

Very different from Songbird, but I presume he is noting that it is inspired in the same manner, so probably is about Nicole.
I remember when the track list was announced and it was speculated this might be 'Show Me Your Love'.
That sounded like a cracking tune - any info on what happened to it because it would be a massive shame if we were never to hear it?

It sounded to me like Liam was mumbling some lines and some of it was completely nonsensical ie 'I'll see everybody, in my own time' which suggest to me it wasn't finished. Liam is a first idea, best idea type of songwriter so the song and lyrics probably stayed the same and they never released it because it was so simple sounding. Either that or they did a rough demo once and after a long tour of drinking/drugs Liam forgot about it and lost the CD  It has got a great melody and chord structure though, it's a shame Liam's such a lazy bastard! |

I don't think much of Soul Love at all, not a terrible album track but not even close to single quality imo
I honestly find Don't Brother Me more enjoyable
