Selling t-shirts for 60-100 bucks? Seems like everything is way overpriced. Is Liam making any money yet?

The last person to who posted some official figures seemed to indicate it was doing pretty well. You pay for the quality, it can't be vastly outside of standard prices for the people they target otherwise it would make no sense.

How many shops does Pretty Gren own? I've only seen two, in London and Cardiff. Is Pretty Green only in the UK?

Just looked over the website today actually. Some really nice stuff, namely jackets and shirts but not fussed about boots and accessories. It's a classy men's line and that's good - better to keep it focused than spread out too thin and lose that IMO. I've not bought anything but when items go on sale they are pretty reasonably priced too.

The Pretty Green shop in Tokyo looks fantastic. Every time I've been there (about 3 times now), there's always been a decent number of people inside. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean business is good but at least it's not empty.

Makes me laugh when I see people describing it as overpriced. Clearly no concept of what a designer label is.
When I pay for a shirt, I pay £80-£100 because I get quality.
If you want to dress like shit then dress like shit fuckers

Agreed, doesn't feel overpriced at all. You can't get that quality for the price with any other brand. I kind of wish they would go up on prices a bit actually so it remains underground and not everyone has it. Luckily I am in canada, haven't ran into anyone wearing it yet.

They also have an another shop in Osaka. I've been to the shops in London (Carnaby Street) and Manchester too. Nice shops.

I had a nice chat with one of the staff about BE. Seems like they employ people who know their stuff. Plus, it's amazing how they built an entire building for his shop. In an expensive part of Tokyo no less. What's your association with Japan mimmihopps?

What's your association with Japan mimmihopps? I like how and where those Pretty Green shops are located, especially in Tokyo. It's in a quite expensive area in Tokyo, yet you can just walk by, unnoticed. I might visit the shop very soon again as I'm seeing Noel at Budokan. I have family living in Japan and part of me owns Japanese blood.

I always thought Pretty Green makes fantastic jackets and coats. Those prices are not that different from jackets you'd buy from another store. I am shocked however at some of the bizarre t-shirt designs and some of their shirts. Who the hell is buying that stuff? For example the leopard print t-shirt and the Nepal type cardigan.
