Hmm. I'm torn between Be Here Now and Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants.
I'll go for Be Here Now but tomorrow that could change.

It's more about the general consensus that both DM and MG are the two best Oasis albums, so I choose to put only their last 5 albums. The third one we don't know exaclty yet, thre isn't a general consensus about it.

Be Here Now would probably edge it but lots of people rate both Don't Believe The Truth third. Then again a similar number of people would put Giants in at number 3.

BHN.
I find it hard to see how "great" DBTT is.

BHN. I find it hard to see how "great" DBTT is. I don't like much either but I think the reason for its popularity is because it was seines a real step up from Heathen Chemistry. Fans were really excited when it initially came out and that seems to have stuck.

Dig Out Your Soul
Be Here Now stands a particularly healthy shout at being 3rd, but there are just too many flaws with the album for me. I enjoy it's old school Oasis style and classic 90's Oasis flourishes and ambition (they've sounded timid ever since), but it somehow manages to combine it's excess with being dreary for very large parts of it's duration.
Had Dig Out Your not been blighted with another case of tracklist stupidity by Noel, I'd happily exclaim it to be easily the best post (WTS)MG? moment, but alas no.

Be Here Now, no contest.
I think you'd find that 90%+ of Oasis fans see DM-WTSMG-BHN as the holy trilogy. Unbreakable.
Be Here Now is Oasis lore, and while it's their third best album, it's most certainly my most played - perhaps even most favorite in that regard - Oasis record. Just so outrageous.

No clear winner for me so I'm abstaining. I appreciate moments of all of them, but the low points prevent me from committing!

If it's not in your top two then it's BHN. DM-WTSMG-BHN. That's the top three. If your top three differs may God have mercy on your soul. You should repent so you don't spend eternity in Hell.

(WTS)MG for me, it's great and at its best captures perfectly a balance of sunshine and melancholy but it just feels too patchy as an album - songs like Roll With It, Hey Now and She's Electric are all sub-par IMO and Hello is mediocre. Although BHN has more obvious flaws and less classics it's just more fun to listen to for me and is the essence of triumphalism and swagger. Although just put the right b-sides on Morning Glory and it's my favourite album ever.

Be Here Now or SOTSOG. I think Gas Panic and Roll It Over are what can help win it over Be Here Now somedays, but then Be Here Now has Stand By Me, All Around the World, Don't Go Away, etc. so yeah BHN and SOTSOG are always in a face off.
Also I'm not counting Masterplan in this. If we are, then The Masterplan is my 3rd favorite.

Don't Believe The Truth was voted second worst, wasn't it? It seems to me that no other album comes close to being third best, and BHN is the 'consensus'.
