So Win Butler (AKA...DJ Windows 98) told a fan at his DJ gig last night that the NEXT Arcade Fire album will be recorded in New Orleans this coming fall. Let the hype machine start now.......................................  |

The plot thickens!!!!!!!! This is no different than when Will Butler told me after his Brooklyn show back in November that he currently has no plans for a solo record (just messing around) and then 2 weeks later he announces his first solo album. |

Why would anyone favorite this tweet? Are they happy he has no plans to record a new album? People are fucking strange on Twitter and the things they like. Not having plans to make a new AF album currently definitely doesn't fall in the "favorites" category. |

The person who reported it told me on Twitter "It was a local producer who is close to win who told me, but I said it was win to be more credible." It might still be true but they don't want to announce anything till they are ready. |

People are fucking strange on Twitter and the things they like. Not having plans to make a new AF album currently definitely doesn't fall in the "favorites" category. I'm pretty sure AF haven't even begun recording a new album since all the band members are in a million different places around the world doing side projects. |

I'm not expecting it until late 2016/early 2017, but pretty excited to see what direction they go in this time.
I hope whenever they do announce (a while away yet, of course) they do it in a weird way like this last time

Arcade Fire's management definitely uses that Twitter account to serve a PR function for the band. |
