Beautiful pop band that is similar to alot of Noel-sang Oasis tunes.. They're not doing too much anymore, but back in the mid-00's they were killin' it!

I remember when In The Morning came out. Really liked that. Love James Skelly's Love Undercover album too.

Great band... "Pass It On" is a smashing tune from those Scouse scallywags.

I love The Coral, saw them 3 times including when they supported Oasis on DBTT tour. I still really love "The Butterfly House", such a quality album. Still underrated for somehow, but a great band. Lennon2217 is a huge fan of them too.

I've been meaning to get into them, only heard Dreaming of You so far, and I really dig it.

Oasis Concert and New Harry Potter Book Released On The Same Day!!]

Lennon2217 is a huge fan of them too. I am a pretty big fan of their material. My favorite Coral album might be "The Invisible Invasion". I just love how the guys from Portshead produced it. Very different from the rest of The Coral albums. Unfortunately I've never gotten the opportunity to see this band live. I had tickets to see them open up for the Arctic Monkeys in NYC as well as their own solo show at Mercury Lounge in early fall 2007. The band pulled out of both spots. No idea why.

Not only these two bands are from Liverpool, but musically, The Coral's music is similar to The La's too.

They need to regroup for another "proper" album. 2010 was a looooong time ago.

Heard this cover they recorded of D'yer Wanna Be a Spaceman? and really enjoyed it, especially the lead guitar sound. It seems to emphasise that plaintive quality in the song. The original is one of my favourite Oasis songs.

I don't play them too often but they are a really solid band. The Invisible Invasion and Roots & Echos are good records. Forgotten about way too often. Whenever I'm in the right mood they really hit the spot.

Most under-rated band in Britain, don't get anywhere near the credit they deserve.

Top band, butterfly house is a brilliant album, just a shame they haven't made another album since. Im a sucker for 60's influenced pop music.

I wish they'd get BR-J back and they'd totally nail a 7th album I personally consider the trifecta of Magic&Medicine-Invisible Invasion-Roots&Echoes to be among the best 3 consecutive albums in Music- Right behind Oasis' first three and and Radiohead's best three

Roving Jewel is the song which made me get into them. I only knew In The Morning when I saw them in 2005 for the first time. Butterfly House is a class album.

A couple of songs are ok, but the entire album didn't make me want to listen to it more than once. They really should back in the studio to make a new album!

Roving Jewel is the song which made me get into them. The lead guitar part sounds like something Johnny Marr might have written.

Great Band but sadly underrated in the U.K and should be a lot bigger then they are. Their Debut album and Roots and Echoes are my favourite albums. Have you checked out a few of the guys in the bands solo albums, pretty good stuff. They lost that something special when Bill Ryder Jones, he was by far the best musician. James Skelly is a top songwriter. They never did a bad album for me.
I saw them live supporting Arctic Monkeys back in 2007 along with Supergrass (who had their worst performance that day) but The Coral were amazing just shot through the best material they had.

The Coral is one of my favorite band. I love each album, The Invisible Invasion is the special one for me. It is as good as Magic & Medicine but with that darker side from Nightfreak. Roots & Echoes is a solid album too. I don't mind Bill Ryder-Jones's departure. Butterfly House is a great collection of tunes. Lee Southall did the job. They are very inspiring. And I'm glad to have Bill recording his music on his own (soundtracks & albums). If is good but A Bad Wind Blows In My Heart is a step further. He Took You In His Arms is one of the most beautiful song from the last ten years. They might haven't recorded another album since 2010 but their side-projects are all great. Ian Skelly's Cut From The Star is my fav'. Can't wait to hear that Serpent Power album. I follow every projects from them, every collaborations and all the bands on their own label (Skeleton Key Records). All of them are not tremendous but they deserve attention : The Circles, By The Sea, The Sundowners, She Drew The Gun. And don't forget to check out Neville Skelly's albums.
