Probably Psycho, Dead Inside and Mercy, I think. isnt there a policy of not swearing in th bbc? I'm not so sure but it's the kind of thing the BBC would do. They should have a policy of not having sex with children instead.

Mercy is a bit rubbish, isn't it? It's Muse as imagined by Chris Martin.

This is fucking outrageous! "This Tuesday, Muse fans in Brazil were surprised by the exorbitant prices announced by T4F for the upcoming gigs in October, only a day before the pre-sale date. They want to make money out of our love for a band that denounces the evils of capitalism… Our monthly minimum wage in Brazil is exactly R$ 788,00. A premium ticket at the floor level in Rio de Janeiro is priced at R$ 700,00. Plus what the most loyal fans might pay for the absurd invention called “early entry”, a meager R$ 300,00 extra to get to the barrier first. Are there cheaper seats? Yes. Far away from the stage. In short, if you want to get near the band, you’ll have to spend an amount of money which is not in keeping with the country’s average income, not by a long shot, coming close to the monthly income of many Brazilians. Thus, premium tickets will not be for the biggest fans, but for the richest. Are we buying tickets to see the same band that wrote “ANIMALS”, exposing capitalism’s limitless greed, which will trample on anyone and anything for more profit? It’s become hard to accept the contradiction. MUSE must have their eyes opened for the abusive prices being imposed on their Brazilian fans. In face of all this, our team at the MUSEBR fan club informs that we will put off our decision to go to the gigs in Brazil, to show our indignation at these prices, which are far removed from our reality. Not even tickets to bands like U2, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam or Queen have cost as much. We want more than anyone else for our favorite band to come to Brazil and enjoy mainstream fame here. We work towards that goal for free, and we were prepared to be partners in the promotion of the events, helping attract the largest public possible to the gigs in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Unfortunately, what T4F accomplished with their “business strategy” was to disencourage even the most faithful fans. We make a point of being respected as customers, and not being ripped off and made fools of because we follow our favorite band. Let everyone who hears the reason in our arguments hold out and wait for a statement from T4F regarding their prohibitive prices before you buy your tickets." www.musebr.com/05/2015/nota-d...dos-ingressos/R$700 is 222 dollars. For being in the barrier, the total is 318 dollars.

Welp thats bad, I could only see it a few minutes ago on reddit, but there was a guy saying that there were more cheap tickets available. The only thing that makes possible gigs of bands in this corner of the world is the following that they have in here and if the promoters(also to the scalperd) want to gain some money at the expense of the fan then there's something wrong in their minds... A fee to get to the barrier? Get the fuck out of here, the minute the gig starts the crowd will move themselves.
I hope that Muse dont use that promoter for future gigs in Brazil.

I won't buy my tickets in this conditions. In addiction to this uunacceptable price, the promoters charge 20% of the entire price as a "convenience fee". In addiction to this, you only can take your ticket at the box office (paying for that) or printing at your house, AND YOU NEED TO PAY TO GET AN PDF AND PRINT THE FUCKIN' TICKET. IN ADDICTION to this, you CAN'T buy by installments, you need to pay the entire price. Here we have the half-entry, students pay only 50%, and this is one of the reasons they put these such high prices, but nothing, nothing explains this absurd. If this situation don't change, I'll be forced to buy the ticket on the day of the gig at the box office, hoping to get there (I'll travel by airplane) with available tickets.

This really sucks. I don't get why tickets are so expensive in Brazil. I bought tickets for Buenos Aires and today for Cordoba. In Bs. As, on the seating area, I paid 1380 pesos, R$488. For Cordoba (it's an arena, pretty awesome view and sound) seating area too, I paid 977 pesos, that's R$345. I thought that the tickets in Bs. As. were very expensive, but nothing like Brazil for fuck's sake. Also, I read that almost 50 people didn't get refund last year for the cancelled side show on Lollapalooza Brazil. Same company, T4F. People had two choices, refund or exchange their ticket for the festival the next day. Those who wanted a refund, never got it.

I'm looking forward to the title track after reading the NME review. Not sure how but they've managed to outdo themselves and become even more ridiculous.
"The title track – do not adjust your NME – is a choral piece based on 16th-century hymnal ‘Sanctus And Benedictus’, featuring a choir of Matts intoning “My mother, my father, my sister and my brother, my son and my daughter, killed by drones”."
