Well that's just...
I'm a bit baffled by it. I don't dislike it, but wasn't expecting it to be like that at all. I suppose it works as a lead single but given the talk of how heavy this album's supposed to be, it seems a bit strange.

Hmm it feels like Madness+Supermassive BH had an a child with Prince. Good song but the chordy part left me with a bad taste(or perhaps the solo in Madness made me belive there would ve one on this one too). Im not too sure about the CE sequel, the unforgiven is a great metallica song but the sequels arent.

First date of the Psycho Tour in Belfast. They played an awesome setlist. www.setlist.fm/setlist/muse/2015/ulster-hall-belfast-northern-ireland-73cbd69d.html1. Psycho 2. Plug In Baby 3. Fury 4. Uno 5. Interlude 6. Hysteria 7. Stockholm Syndrome (Micro Cuts Outro) 8. Hyper Music (Voodoo Child riff Intro) 9. Agitated (Unknown Riff Outro) 10. Supermassive Black Hole 11. Unnatural Selection (Assassin tease Intro) 12. Uprising(Extended Outro) 13. Knights of Cydonia(Ennio Morricone's Man with a Harmonica Intro) Encore: 14. Animals 15. Time Is Running Out 16. Reapers I hope they keep some of those songs for the South America Tour, like Uno, Animals and Hyper Music. Edit: A clip from Reapers. What a riff! the tapping part of reapers reminds me of hot for teacher by van halen.

Yes, the solo parts in Reapers are very '80s. I'm curious how is going to be the studio version of this song. And all the three songs have the word drone in the lyrics.

Even if there is a tendency to go a bit over the top and with it sometimes not quite working, I do love the ambition and grandiose nature of this band. Can't think of many bands who do it like they do today.
I'm surprised they haven't contributed to a film score like Jonny Greenwood has done in the past.

It seems a part of the "making of" just leaked on Vimeo.
Edit: I read that it's parts of The Globalist and Defector. I love it already. Amazing!

It seems like the new tour will be like the last u2 stage... 360 degree stages that sucks for the viewer unless you're watching on DVD eva theclock did you went to the u2 gig in Argentina?

I couldn't go but Eva did go to see U2 and Muse on that tour. I read many people on the official forum saying that they are not going to the gigs if the stage is 360. I get that it sucks if you want to see the stage, but last year I went to see Arctic Monkeys and I couldn't see anything and the stage was a normal one. It's awesome to see the musicians play and all that but I go to concerts for the music. In massive gigs, like in stadiums and all that, it's normal to only see the screens if you aren't close to the stage so I don't see the problem.

I went to 2 dates. On one I was in front of the stage (but a bit far) and on the other I was at the back close of the stage, but it kinda sucked. Bono would run around and all but it's very weird, unless you want to see what happens backstage with the rodies and all of that. However, that stadium has weird acoustics and on the first date there was a lot of echo, the sound traveled and it wouldn't match what you saw on stage. When I was at the back I heard what they were playing at the right moment. I'll take the good and the bad for each one

What was wrong with The Resistance and The Second Law as albums? I listened Survival on a shuffle and WOW while I dont love the rest I love the over the top performance of the choir, guitars and Matts voice.

I remember when Survival was revealed for the Olympics, all the hate from the fans was funny. I like it. It's over the top but the instrumentation is awesome and the song is a beast live.

Psycho is a good riff but they nicked large parts of the song (even the premise) from this band, from Devon as well
