Great set list but I'm disappointed there's no x Ray eyes do the damage or revolution song. Stranded on the wrong beach should have never been the opener in my opinion.

Yeah , well no one is ever gonna be fully happy with it , but like a gem like slide away or another big unexpected song would of made it top obviously apart from champagne supernova

I tell you what. I'm happy with the album. And the setlist ? He played Champagne Supernova, what more do you want..

I thought it was fantastic. Glad Slide Away, Wonderwall, Talk Tonight and the like never made it, bored of hearing them. Champagne Supernova was epic. Delighted with Shout It Out Loud too, is that the first time live ever? Disappointed not to get Do The Damage or Revolution Song, but I can live with it.

Agreed, I couldn't believe my eyes when people said Noel was playing CS. Noel did play Shout It Out Loud the last time round, in Dubai (wasn't it?), but it wasn't played a whole lot after that. I wouldn't have minded Slide Away because it's such an amazing song (Noel's semi-acoustic performance from 2006 still gives me chills) but all in all, I am very happy with this setlist.

Champagne Supernova and Masterplan were absolute great surprises. And I'm very happy he kept Alone on the Rope in the set...
But I still can't shake how freakin lazy Noel is. As I mentioned before he simply merged the last TCC setlist with the new songs, plus CS and Masterplan. Which means, they only had to rehearse those two aside from the new ones. And thats becoming incredibly predictable.
Still I'm really looking forward to see him once again in action. I guess SOTWB its not the best opener but it surely works... and Im pretty sure we'll see Do The Damage down the line

Hate shout it loud....Other than that, really digging it.
I've never heard Digsy's Dinner live before so will look forward to that. Has a nice bounce along to it

I am happy with it, for sure. I like that no one expected SOTWB to be the opener. Maybe its not the best choice but it was unexpected.
Here's my epic ideal setlist
Lord Don't Slow me Down Lock all the Doors Dream On If I Had a Gun Riverman The Dying of the Light Death of You and Me Everybody's on the Run Hey Now The Mexican In the Heat of the Moment Girl With X-Ray Eyes AKa What a Life Shout it Out Loud Ballad of the Mighty I Record Machine --- Idler's Dream You Know We Can't Go Back Revolution Song (or Let the Lord Shine a Light)
Yes, that's my ideal setlist. Not changing it, sorry. Not a chance. At least until tomorrow.

I love that he not only kept Stranded On (The Wrong Beach) in the setlist but opened his concert with him. That tune was always a highlight for me on the last tour. The guitars sound so sinister!

I like stranded on the wrong beach a lot.
Wish While the Song Remains the Same and Girl with the Xray Eyes was included though

All of the choices were really good, but I'm hoping A Simple Game of Genius and Do the Damage will find their way on to the setlist. I would've preferred seeing DTD as the set opener, AOTR to close the main set, and then SOTWB to open the encore. However, I'd say he did a pretty good job with the setlist this time around, considering what we've had in the past.

Im really happy that all the Oasis tunes are completely different from the ones he played on the last tour (except for the obvious DLBIA). His rendition of Champagne Supernova sounds soo good I can't wait to hear it live! Also The Masterplan!
