I doubt it... He's already said in a recent interview that the next album will be around three years away. That said, he also mentioned on one of those Behind the rainbows end videos that the recording sessions for chasing yesterday started with recording a load of old stuff
There'll be at least 4 maybe 5 singles from this album just as there was nghfb... The bsides were the first 2 bonus tracks and freaky teeth will probably be on the next single... Let's say next single is the dying of the light.
I wouldn't be surprised if maybe lock all the doors / Riverman was released as the 4th but released as an EP with a few old tracks supporting it
I'm praying for come on outside / god help us all and a couple of the demos left over from the HFB Album

He said during the Master Tapes interview that he was working on something, didn't sound like an album, I can't remember the quote, but I'm sure he said he had about 10 instrumentals or something that needed words. Possibly a soundtrack? Can't remember exactly.

he probably means demos, he'll always recording those and it falls in the category of the process of recording an album.

I'm going to guess the next album will be released in October 2017. Not that bad considering we waited three and a half years for Chasing Yesterday.

He didn't even mean it literally. He was illustrating a point.

Since he's not slowly growing his UK venues and starting out at arenas I think he probably won't tour as long either. I would think he'll be finished the tour by early spring next year. He said he'll never take 6 months off again cause he got bored. So start recording again next fall when the kids are back in school so he can't go on vacation anyways. Finished by spring/summer 2017 for a fall release. That's my hope anyways.

Although he could keep us entertained by releasing a live DVD/remix album/demo album in the meantime. Am I asking for too much?

Well, there's the BHN remaster and the inevitable Knebworth DVD release to keep us entertained in the meantime I actually believe he has written enough songs for another album, but it's always that way. He had 9 out of 10 tracks for NGHFB when Oasis split up in 2009, took him over two years (and that's without touring or anything); had about half of CY in time for NGHFB and still took 3 and a half years. So 2017 seems reasonable if he decides to use some of the stuff he already has.

It's cool to have the album and b-sides in one place, and there were some nice demos, but overall not too many surprises. And the sound quality improvement is minimal (if at all). The Knebworth DVD on the other hand could be interesting.

October 2018 at the earliest, March 2019 would be my guess.

It's Noel! It'll probably be finished in a couple of years but I'm sure his management will find some stupid reason to delay it for ages!
I was taking the piss mostly. Hopefully October 2017 (Y)

I'll believe it when I hear it. I'll believe it when somebody claims to have heard it but withholds all information and sends the entire forum into spinning, panting, frothing turmoil.

Maybe hes working on a film score??something different noel said recently That would be cool. Noel doing a soundtrack for a film with instrumentals and straight forward tunes. I'd love to hear that project.

That Knebworth stuff next year and the bhn reissue will keep us busy though. Okay, 2 years would be really fast. But he took 3,5 years for CY and he has said personally that the wait was too long (and of course he really didn't do much in 2013). March 2018 at the latest is my guess.

I'd love to hear that project. In that Master Tapes interview he explicitly said the instrumentals project was not for a soundtrack.
