i HATE them.
with the exception of "The Mexican" (totally dull), the nananas are probably the 2nd worst thing in the album.
out of place, out of mood make a great track to sound just ok or sometimes annoying...i skip the track when i hear the album and that makes me somehow really angry cause ITHOTM is a great tune , not a "skip moment"...

in a youtube cover someone changed the nananas with whistles and the result sound so good and in place.an intro with heavy bass or even guitar sounds could also make it sound better...

Horrific. Shameful from a man who knows far better than this. Imagine if Andy Bell had placed them in one of his Beady Eye songs? Noel would absolutely crucify him and rightly so.

Same goes for the WaWaWas in The Mexican. Unlike others I quite like the tune but whilst not as irritating as IHOTM's NaNaNas they are still unwanted.
