Which one can out-crazy the other. Anton is such a great musician and songwriter! That would be awesome. Didn't BJM supported Oasis on one of their first US Tours? Should have been the other way round imho.

If this really is the end of Liam's music career then I think that Evil Eye is a great song to end it with. It's still one of my favourite Beady Eye songs.

With The Brian Jonestown Massacre every song is basically Flick of the Finger.

dandy warhols, bjm, black angels, darker my love, GOAT .... so many great stuff out there
I would have loved Beady Eye to move in this kind of direction, would have suited them I think. BE had bits of these bands in it.

BE had bits of these bands in it. Half of the record's songs: Wigwam, Beatles and Stones, Bring the Light, Shine a Light, Flick of the Finger, Second Bite of the Apple, Soul Love (and many more) are all carrying the sound of these bands to bits. The thing is BJM could always get away without big chorus sing alongs, and it's still being considered simple and tricky. The Stone Roses song,... Fools Gold has no chorus, dykwim? BJM' music has a very special post modern approach to it that Beady Eye's songs are lacking. It would really suit Liam's songwriting. Hey, man btw. , tell that Courtney Taylor-Taylor he should sort his hair out

I hate this "there has to be a chorus in every song" thinking in this forum. AS mich AS I love Oasis and The Gallagher ( I love Beady eye a bit More than oasis in The und) there is so much close mindedness Here. I don't want 96 knebworth back. The Songs already exist, let them do New stuff

I always thought Liam's simple songs were deliberate anyway... it is like, a trademark?... or someting? But the production and the performances always sounded kind of static and unnaturally ... You couldn't really transcend.

it's just sad he's not with Nicole, brilliant bird... she was great to him, and from now on it's all downhill I'm afraid...

So... In a way you could say that Noel co-wrote Little James? (joking)

I never thought it was right he was with Nicole Appleton. He might as well of gone off with Melanie Blatt, she is single...so she says, and I believe her.
But that's just disgusting isn't it?......getting off with your best friend?
Liam as far as I am concerned needs to keep himself fit and get his voice back to how it once was. Then Oasis can be a decent band again, especially live wise.
If he does that I am sure, he will find the right person to be with. Someone who is like minded like him. I have no idea musically what All Saints and Oasis have to be honest.
But if he stays away from drugs, goes easy on the booze, and knocks the cigarettes for good, he'll be a much better front man for it. But I do see Oasis reforming in 2016, but as he said, there has to be a connection with Noel and Liam thats bigger than just the music. Then we will get some decent songs from them again.
