"I think his next move should be to get himself a fucking razor.” - NG ALSO ....Elsewhere, Noel speculated on what his brother Liam does all day following the demise of Beady Eye in 2014. He stated: "I think he probably is working on, you know, developing the perfect desert boot. You know that thing they have in Switzerland, the Hadron Collider, where they’re just smashing atoms into each other to see what the fuck happens? I think he’s got one of those in his house which is just throwing desert boots at each other, in the hope that they will fuckin’ create some kind of fusion, and out will pop the perfect desert boot that will never be bettered by any other human being." www.nme.com/news/noel-gallagher/83244

Didn't think Liam would ever do a solo album - he's a guy who just loves being in a band. Some acts - whether it's an electro outfit or whatever - really need to get Liam in the recording studio to do a collaboration.
God knows it's needed as the music on the radio is full of beige singers.
I never thought I'd see the day where Liam isn't doing anything - he was always wanting to get in the studio with Oasis or Beady Eye. Even if the listeners didn't always agree with the rushed way he'd go into things, it's really sad to see him lose that motivation and give up.
Someone give him a helping hand please.

Liam is just giddy with his new bird. He'll start wanting to get onstage again when the "new" begins to wear off. When he falls for a bird, he falls hard.

Liam is making big money from PG right now, probably way more than from Big Brother. He has no reason to go back to music. He probably feels betrayed by his fans, so he won't be arsed.
I wouldn't be surprised if he takes the John Squire route, but doing clothes instead of visual arts.

Liam has a great voice, especially in studio, his best bet is as someone says above, collaborative efforts where someone writes a damn good tune that suits his great voice, someone like Daft Punk would be ace, they did that amazing song with Julian Casablancas recently.

It would be very sad if that would be the end of Liam's career in music. I didn't see that coming you know ? I knew Oasis spliting up wasn't the best thing for him , and then Beady Eye weren't that succesful, but i never expected things to go really bad for rkid.
It would be really unfair if this whole story ended up like that. Noel the godlike fuckin genius who proved himself without Oasis with his solo career and Liam who "crashed and failed" without his big brother.. Fuck that, first thing that got my attention to this band was Liam's voice, and attitude. He is better than that, i hope he won't give up, find himself in this chaos and show them.
Solo album i think, with a bit of good vibe and wise choices, few solid tunes could be not so bad idea, but if he could find the right people to form a new fresh band, that would be it i think.

Liam has dug himself a hole personally and after releasing a decent album they didn't have the chance to tour it properly because of Gem's injuries. As Noel said they lost momentum because of that. Had they gone through the album cycle (christ I hate that term) normally I think they would be moving toward album number three.

Didn't Noel say he was under the impression they were writing new material when he heard they'd split up? Whatever his involvement in Comic Relief, hopefully it will raise a positive public interest in Liam and it'll give him the impetus to work on something new.

Most of Oasis fans have pretty much left Liam for dead, so why bother making music? As I said earlier, this reminds me a lot of when John Squire simply decided working with music was making him unhappy and that some other form of arts would actually give him more money and happiness. While Liam is still a hugely talented singer (just like Squire is/was a hugely talented guitarist), he has no reason to keep trying to please a fanbase that has abandoned him. That's why I think there's a big chance we won't be seeing him on a stage any soon. In fact, unless Oasis reform, I don't see him coming back to music. Then again, I hope I'm wrong. I actually really liked DGSS and BE, and there's simply no frontman in the world as good as him.
