The Masterplan was no 2 That doesnt count in my eyes, the masterplan is a compilation album, not a studio album. CY will make 9 consecutive number one studio album for Noel 9/9. That's impressive, only Alex Turner with a 6/6 and few others can match that. 10 #1 album if we count Time Flies

In Italy he won't go nr. 1, there is too much competition with italian pop singers.

Yes, I didn't say "10 consecutive #1 albums". As of now he released 8 studio albums for 8 #1s. We can already count CY as a #1 album so it's a 9/9
Robbie Williams' impressive solo career can't match Noel because he had a #2. Madonna has a #6 and a #2, The Beatles had a #3.
Help me please, except Noel and Alex Turner (his Submarine record wasn't a #1 though, if you want to count it) who got only #1s studio albums? (more than 5)

Studio albums and compilation albums are different entities in the charts.
so the 7 oasis albums then the 2 solo will make 9 (TF and MP are irrelevant to that)

only coldplay are up there with the consecutive #1s, 7 in a row. even big US stars have had low charting albums, rihanna had a #9 in 2009 and eminem and katy perry had #12 albums. to get 7 #1s in a row like oasis & ooldplay is fantastic. noel will have his 9th studio #9 this week and that is mental good

They are Led Zeppelin (from "Led Zeppelin 2" in 1969 to "In Through The Out Door" in 1979) and Abba (from "Greatest Hits" in 1976 to "The Singles - The First Ten Years" in 1982). By an odd piece of synchronicity Led Zep's eighth consecutive chart-topper ("In Through The out Door") was recorded at Abba's very own Polar Studios in Sweden. Leading soloist is Robbie Williams (5 - from "Life Thru A Lens" in 1997 to "Escapology" in 2002). Leading female soloists with 3 consecutive number ones each are Eva Cassidy (from "Songbird" in 2001 to "American Tune" in 2003) and Madonna ("Evita" 1996 to "Music" in 2000, though "Evita" was a soundtrack album featuring a number of other artists). edit that is using compliation albums for abba tho

NGHFB is a different entity so that will only be able to be classed as 2/2 and oasis 7/7 Noel wasn't the sole songwriter with oasis so maybe classed as a songwriter with 9/9 albums in row? but if you take it that way there could be others who just wrote a track on an album and got more? (i.e. noel co wrote setting sun so could you class that 10/10 etc)

Noel as an artist in a band or as a solo released 9 #1 albums out of 9, is he the only one? I only would like to know this As of now we have Noel's discography: 9/9 Oasis 7/7 Coldplay 7/7 Alex Turner's discography: 6/6 AM 5/5

I'm lost but guess robbie still has more number 1 than noel (as an artist) cos he's been involved in many more studio albums

Noel is a little bit lazy and only released 9 studio albums in 21 years Alex Turner is 26/27 and already released 5 albums with the AM, 1 Soundtrack album and 1 album with Miles Kane. Obviously Alex became famous earlier than Noel

I think the #12 you're referring to may be the shady15 compilation album last year?
