Does anyone know what happened to this song? I loved the demo and thought it was meant to be on CY but may have had a different name. Maybe a later b-side?

I doubt Noel had any intentions of re-recording it for Chasing Yesterday since it was over 10 years old. Granted he did resurrect Revolution Song. |

Of those demos that were leaked in 2013, I liked Come On Outside and this one. Didn't care for the other two (She Must Be One Of Us and Oh Lord).
It's a really sweet little tune without being twee - mainly thanks to its downbeat melody and lyrics, and I hope Noel revisits it sometime in the future.

The only demo that really got me, except TDOTL, was She Must Be One of Us. Yeah, is really Dylanesque, but has a great vibe.

It's a nice little song, a bit like I'd Pick You Every Time, a good b-side. Definitely not album material though, and we don't really need a polished/produced version of it. Come On It's Alright needs proper guitars, drums and bass while this one is just an acoustic number anyway, so it would probably not make a huge difference.

See, thing is... some songs just sound good the way they are. Let It Come Down Over Me's beauty is in the intimacy and simplicity of it. Cherish it. Feel it. This is one song that is perfect the way it is. Doesn't need any production. I think it is the closest to sounding like Mr Neil Young he is going to get. One of my favorites of his actually just wish it would get a record store release or something Id love to own this one on vinyl. |

I always think that when songs like that leak, Noel (or his team) should acknowledge it and just make it available for free through the website or something similar. They're already on internet from various resources for free, so just "package" them as such. They're good pro recordings, they definitely sound like finished articles.
The thing, I think, with this is; if him and his people acknowledge they're out there, we might even hear one or two of them live.
You could say about Revolution Song, but it was clearly a demo recording, not nearly as clean and well produced as SMBOOU, COIA or JLICDOM (btw, !!Oh Lord!! can fuck off)
