As the title says. Pure single material, no?

The Dying of The Light, The Riverman, and You Know We Can't Go Back all have a good argument as to why they should be singles. I'd guess that only two of the three make it. A good one is probably going to get left out unfortunately.

The next proper single won't be out til May/June I think, my guess is Tdotl or While the song remains the same with Freaky Teeth as the b-side.
Then YKWCGB as the big summer single in mid/late August with another huge summer Oasis style anthem on the b-side

As the title says. Pure single material, no? Absolutely single material. Perhaps in April, May at the very latest. Too wait any longer would be foolish. Strike the iron while the its still hot. Not sure about the b side thought. Perhaps FT?

It's no sure thing it will be a single. Very mellow, very slow but in a great kinda way. Doesn't scream radio single to me. Great track but maybe not a great single. I'd vote Lock All The Doors or You Know We Can't Go Back before it.

If I Had A Gun went down faster than a Led Zeppelin. The world barely took notice.

I don't know its chart status or anything, but here in the US, it was the only song I heard on the radio and I actually heard it a good bit.

Where did you hear IIHAG in America? I've never heard it on TV or radio in the NYC area. Then again NYC only has 1 Rock/alternative station these days!!!!

I saw the video on VH1 several times and my local rock station was playing it for a while. I was quite shocked.

If they had lead with it as the lead single as originally planned it would have done much better I reckon.

Take, WAL, that also didn't peak super high but it hung around In the charts forever.

At least it charted in the top100. After Go Let It Out, nothing Gallagher related ever charted again here, I believe . Strictly talking about singles of course. Their albums did quite well

That is more of a reflection of the charts these days and the album having already been released. The first two did well because they came out before, so people snapped it up. I'm sure it would have done well if it was released from one of the Oasis albums. I'm kind of glad Oasis split so they never had to have such low chart placements. The DOYS singles didn't do well by previous standards which was a sign of the changing singles climate.

The problem with his singles nowadays is they aren't an event any more with new b-sides so fans don't buy them, and he's not on the big crossover radio stations like Radio 1 or Heart, so it's not likely he will ever get a hit again. Just sell lots of albums and gig tickets and he'd be happy.

It peaked #95 in UK because the album was already released and the fanbase already had the album. When IIHAG was released NGHFB already sold like 600k, so all the people already had that song. That it'll probably happen with the next CY's single as well.
And, anyway, it charted at #2 in Japan and was proper hit. Biggest charting position for Noel as a solo artist

This is surprising.
