Noely should have a chat with his management then because, in the digital age, there's no such thing as geographical boundaries or exclusive limitations either. Alone on the Rope was release exclusively on Amazon in Germany at first, which means that people outside weren't even able to buy it, then added as a bonus if you bought the record on amazon.com... which means everyone else had to get it illegally which results in loss of sales for the artist. It's a very stupid and retarded way to look at the music business... even at 1 quid if 50,000 people downloaded it illegally, then Noel lost 50,000 quids...

I really hope we get another AOTR from this album, ie a track out the blue. It's horrifying to think we may have already had all the songs from this era and the tour hasn't even started yet!
If Noel insists on putting the b-sides out early as bonus tracks then we absolutely need an EP somewhere down the line so Noel can offload a few of these 6 million songs he has stockpiled.

The other night I said to the Mrs. how depressing it is knowing Noel had released all the material from the CY recording sessions. She responded that I was a fanboy. I barked back that you do not fuck with genius and, if I could, I'd have the man's children.....yea, I'm fucked. Any lord....an EP in the future would be fantastic. I'm delighted and thankful to have CY yet I want more. I'm a greedy bastard. But a grateful one at that.  |
