About 10 years ago there was a sudden rush of Oasis books, by varous journalists and friends of the band. Even Paul Gallagher wrote one.
My favourite is the one by Ian Robertson, who was the Security Manager between August 1994 - September 1995. Ian Robertsons book is very honest and paints a good story of what life was like on the road with Oasis.
The reason i prefer this is because a majority of Oasis books tend to be to biased and arse kissing.

I think the only thing even resembling an Oasis book that I've read is the first edition of the official Oasis magazine.

I doubt that it even exists! Noel can barely be bothered to READ books, let alone sit down and write one. The most this will be is one of those sleazy cash-in types where someone has taken a load of Noel quotes and stuck them in a book. If it's otherwise I'll believe it when I see it.

Oh should've said, Paolo Hewitt's Oasis books are pretty good:
GETTING HIGH: THE ADVENTURES OF OASIS
FOREVER THE PEOPLE: SIX MONTHS ON THE ROAD WITH OASIS
The latter in particular is good, has some insights into live in the band during the BHN era when it all started to break down. Paul Mather's book TAKE ME AWAY is pretty good too, though it does suffer a little from being very early in their career and lacking a little perspective.

This a a photographic journey during the recording of the album Be Here Now. Includes great stories, very rare photos and an interview with Noel. Quite a good book.

Yes I'd agree Paola Hewitt's books are brilliant. I also enjoyed Ian Robertson's - and yes it's definitely a 'warts n'all'!
Check out Paul Gallagher's book - co wrote with (I think) Terry Christian. It's good and he doesn't hold back either.
Never knew Noel had 'written' a book. So thanks for that. It seem genuine enough on the amazon web site. When was it written?
Someone said a lot of those books were written too early - I think that's a good point. I'd love to see something more recent.

I've read Paolo Hewitt's book and one from Paul Lester, also Oasis - Behind The Wonderwall, Oasis - What's The Story and Oasis Talking. My favourite was the Hewitt book.
