Just listened to A Simple Game of Genius for the 4th time ever, and wondered why it wasn't the closing track on the first record compared to Stop the Clocks? For me its runtime doesn't feel dragged and seems like a very powerful way to end a otherwise amazing record. SGOG completely trumps the album version of Stop the Clocks.
Also, the short solo is incredible.

I love it too, God knows what he was smoking when he put Stop The Clocks on instead. I guess the latter was more in keeping with the boredom of his first record. To think if Oasis stayed together their next album could have started with Four Letter Word and finished with Game of Genius, that would have been a strong start and finish.
