Both of...
1) The whole of The Right Stuff.
Sounds nothing like any Noel thing ever.
And...
2) The whole of Lock All The Doors.
Sounds just like my old favourite band Oasis.
I hope that makes sense?

All of Riverman. The solo in The Dying Of The Light. That beautiful slow intro in While The Song Remains The Same and the bassline when it kicks in. The chorus in You Know We Can't Go Back.

"As she swallowed space and time"
This bit in Girl with the Mad Laser Vision X-Ray 3000 Eyes is one of those points where everything falls into place - great song.

Lock all the Doors when I first heard it. Still my favorite and the shock of how everyone loves The Right Stuff.
And OMG been on here since 2004.

The sound Noel makes (think its his voice) at the very start of Riverman.

My favourite moment? The blues thing at the very start of In The Heat Of The Moment. Really.
Worst moment? Whole 'Dying of the light'. Horrible production, demo is SO much better.
I'm not big fan of this record yet. It's not my kind of music at all.

I'm absolutely in love with all the skronky bass clarinet bits on The Right Stuff. As a fan of all kinds of crazy jazz, this is something I could have only dreamed of finding on a Noel Gallagher record. This guy's contributions on Riverman and The Right Stuff are some of the most tasteful improvising from a session musician I've heard on a rock album and I really hope he returns in the future.
The ghostly, Teotihuacan-like piano notes that are featured throughout the record are also a great addition.
There are too many great moments on this album to list them all, really.

I honestly heard the iTunes stream this morning and I haven't been able to collect my thoughts. I just have everything in my head.....I MAY need to listen to it ONE MORE TIME tonight and then I can definitely list my fave moments.....as several times this morning I was shouting "what the fuck, this is incredible" or I was just laughing because I couldn't really believe that Noel had made a record like this.
I do have to say, that gorgeous guitar on While The Song Remains The Same is a definite for me.

I can't listen to it anymore. Had it on repeat everyday for 7days and my heads melted with it. Been listening to Bowie for a few days now.

I'm a piano player so that was definitely something that stuck out to me. The amount of dreamy teotihuacanesque piano all over the record.
can't wait to learn it all!!

A few of mine outside of lyrics are:
When the song kicks in at the beginning of WTSRTS & also the beginning of the guitar solo The entry to the second chorus on TDOTL with the cry/i combined The slide of the bass (i believe) in the intro to TGWTXE The pick slides on LATD When the guitar riff changes during The Mexican on the second chorus The sax on Riverman ffs
Also NO FADE OUTS.

"This timeeee" in the LATD chorus. Noel sounds just like Liam in the 90's

When the guitars go 'boooooooooooowwwwww' before the solo in While The Song Remains The Same, I think it's overdrive isn't it? It just shouts at you that there's about to be a big guitar solo coming on, so hold onto your butts. I like that there are a lot of little touches in between songs as well. Overall I think it's the best Oasis-related material for 20 years.

The period of time in Riverman from the guitar solo to the end of the saxophone solo. Along with the transition from the pre-chorus to chorus, it creates such a cool atmosphere for the song.
The way Lock All the Doors kicks in. Gets me excited EVERY time.
All of The Right Stuff. Strangeboy's solo is also quite amazing, and soars the song to a whole other level.
All of While the Song Remains the Same.
The intro to The Dying of the Light, which is beautifully haunting and sets a cool tone for what follows. Ballad of the Mighty I's outro, especially with the strings. Not to mention, Johnny Marr = Guitar legend.
The horns on The Mexican. Absolutely infectious.
