So now we've got the proper versions of Lock All the Doors and Dying of the Light, with Freaky Teeth and Revolution Song to come in two weeks (probably sooner before depending on leaks etc), what delights from Noel's song bank are left to be released that we know exist?
Come on It's Alright Let It Come down Over Me She Must Be One of Us Oh Lord (Could this been for the the AA album?) God Help Us All
Can't see any of these going past demo form but are there any that Noel has mentioned which don't exist in demo or soundtrack form?
Personally I'd like to hear some elements of stuff like See the Sun or Colour My Life in some new songs but a third album of completely new Noel Gallagher material is something to look forward to after Chasing Yesterday has died down a bit.
*This isn't to break up the CY chat. It's to take my mind off the fact that you lot have all heard it all and say it's brilliant but I'm holding strong til release day. Bastards.

See The Sun would be good to hear in a new form, although I can't imagine he would like to release lyrics like that these days. Maybe he would keep the tune and rewrite the words. Colour My Life was written by Liam so there's no chance of that happening. There are a few others form the pre Definitely Maybe era as well.

Would still like to hear studio versions of Come on outside and God help us all even as b-sides.

Off-topic but on-topic but what's the topic really: Colour My Life was a brilliant tune. Good riff. Went nuts for it when I first heard it. Agreed. was blown away when I first heard that song. Good one Liam!

He once mentioned a song called "The Red, The White And The Blue" in an interview at the end of 1996/early 97 as a track going on Be Here Now. I've never seen any mention of it ever again. My suspicion is that it morphed into "I Hope I think I know".

I didn't know Liam wrote Colour My Life. It's my favourite demo. Liam didn't write Colour My Life. From the songs around this time, 1991-2, Liam and Bonehead wrote Alice, Reminisce, Acoustic Song (Life In Vain) and Take Me. Noel wrote Colour My Life, Must Be The Music, See The Sun, Snakebite, Arkayla (I Will Show You) and Better Let You Know is a partial reworking of Feel The Groove By Cartouche.

I think it's in Tony's book he states that Noel wrote it and brought it to the rehearsals and how it, and the others named above, was too baggy and different from their own tunes. Noel himself has also said Liam and Bonehead only had something like 3 songs before he joined, those being Take Me, Acoustic Song and "She Alway's Comes Up Smiling" which is of course Alice.

I'll take Tony's word for it. I still haven't bought Tony's book, something I've been meaning to do for the last year.

I Will Show You (now THATS a good riff!!) The Magic Can't Be Right For One So Young Mile High Moon Don't Stop The Happening After hearing that clip of Don't Stop The Happening from the French interview I'd love for Noel to finally release that tune. For One So Young is an interesting one in that Noel has never mentioned it once so it's a complete mystery. When I first seen that demo tape with it listed I was really surprised to see it as we have so many of the Giants demos already so a new unknown song was great to know about it, hopefully one day we get to hear it... Probably on Noel's next album after he dug out Lock All The Doors after all those years! Noel said there migh. gonna be an EP. Maybe there will this songs on. It's a remix EP he was talking about releasing, no mention of any other songs as yet.

One sided obviously and Tony still has a couple of issues with Noel etc but it's a great insight into the early days of the band for sure.
