Excellent - keeps some of that rawer guitar sound of the soundcheck but is more fully produced, love it!

Beautiful.
I don't know why Noel feels every song needs produced. It was perfect the way it was. Could've just added the keys in maybe. The song becomes a bit generic when the drums etc are added. Same with If I had a gun.

Same with If I had a gun. Yep, noel suffers with the syndrome of over production sometimes. His demos are raw and cool as fuck. It'll flow well in the record that way, me thinks, hope we get to buy it on itunes or something.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.
I've taken a lot of pleasure from this forum so it's always nice to put something back in. I've sent the higher quality version to Jim so hopefully it'll be up later this evening.

I like it but it would be better if it were more like the soundcheck version but with Liam on vocals and Bonehead on marimba.
Now, seriously, that's a gorgeous version. I like the bluesy touch of the acoustic guitar fills. When do you guys think this was recorded?
Oh, and thanks to Shakespeare's Sister. Much appreciated.

This would be the version Sardy would've used and added a ridiculous overlayering of choir tracks and a crap-ton reverb. Thank you Noel for making the album version great.

There's a 2014 copyright on the sleeve of the vinyl. Maybe that's when it was recorded.

On the other hand, it could be a much earlier recording that was just copyrighted last year.

I've just heard the demo and I must say its a FAR superior delivery than the album version.
He should've kept it acoustic with a cello and a hint of violin.

Just OOPsed this version. Noel's vocals are very haunting and ominous, giving it a better effect.

Very beautiful. Thank you so much, Shakespeare's Sister!!! So, do you people think this is the same version that was in the making of NGHFB? It sounds similar, I think.

If someone does an mp3 version let me know. You can play the FLAC file with VLC, unless you're trying to put this on your iPod or whatever.

Wow, this is incredible. honestly, I feel this is one of Noel's best songs ever. And I've had time to listen to it since I've been replaying that soundcheck version for a long fucking time.
