Please head over to the Oasis forum, you're embarrassing yourself over here.
You all come on here then when we disagree that Liam would sound better, you get abusive and start sulking.
The Noel board is for fans of Noel, who speak objectively and have moved on and not now living in 1995.
Oasis have been over a while and bar a few reunion gigs itll never happen again. Noel is here and writing as good a music as he's done, it's just for a more grown up audience who don't live in Oasis days.
Liam needs Oasis. Noel doesn't. Maybe that's where the anger from Liam fans comes from, realisation that this album signifies to me Noel has well and truly moved on and doesn't need Oasis at all.
Liam had a great voice, a studio can make it sound better than it does nowadays, but Live, he's appalling. His songwriting is a lot more miss than hit. Beady Eye were average, that's probably being kind.
I loved Oasis as much as anyone, was 14 when DM came out, used to love Liam with all his attitude and laying people out and so on, that was back then when I was at school and later in college when BHN came out, majority of the fanbase have grown up since and think Liam is a right dick, his behaviour with his own family shows what a tool the guy is, he can't sing Live anymore, he's barely an average songwriter.
The "Liam would sound better singing..." Has been done time & time again, no one else cares, he isn't singjng these new songs, never will and thank god but imo like most, Noel is by far better now.
It's over Liam fans, move on or just sit on the Oasis forum discussing which song is best, Little James or Love Like A Bomb.

I thought it was the general opinion amongst folk that Liam - at his peak - would sound amazing on some of these songs. Not Liam fandom by any means. I love Noel's voice and I think it's brilliant for the melancholy in his songs, but there's no way anyone would disagree that Liam's voice at its peak is amazing. That's part and parcel of being an Oasis fan, not just a Liam fan.  |

There's only so many times you can say it and no matter how many times you do it ain't gonna happen. Exactly, it's same thing everytime. Liam is done for now, hopefully he does his own thing but if we're all honest no one is truly hopeful Itll be any good because his own back catalogue hardly suggests quality. Oasis isn't happening. |
