So I was watching the making of "NGHFB" and it appears DTD was recorded way back then - theres a bit in the documentary where he is recording the vocals and trying to hit the high backing notes - pretty amusing.

Never noticed it before.

He's saying it at some place in the above linked interview, apparently it almost ended up on the first album but was deemed too epic in the context of the record and Stop The Clocks was chosen ahead.

Yeah, this is disappointing. The deluxe edition should have included one, but we get a CD with only 4 tracks on it instead...
Not that I'm complaining because we get three additional tracks, but there was room for something more to justify the name "Deluxe Edition".

Glad it got re-recorded for this one. The energy is different on this album and it fits DTD, LATD and FT a lot better. Looking forward to hearing Freaky Teeth especially now. Hope it's more like the versions than the demo we've heard.
