Good article. I thought Noel hated taking pictures with fans though? Surprised me to see the line about him 'famously posing for selfies with fans'. He does,but he usually takes them anyway,you can find lots of them on Twitter,Instagram etc. |

Can we please make a thread to actually appreciate this interview? It's fucking great. The part about Liam made me ambivalently tear up just a bit. My favourite bit was when he was talking about Liam's weakness "It's the chicks I'm afraid" |

Noel is genuinely talented at picking awful album titles. I don't know how he does it. Every single Oasis title has been great, watchu talmbout Well, I think What's The Story Morning Glory is pretty awful and the fact it's Standing on the SHOULDER instead of SHOULDERS annoys me. |

What's wrong with Noel physically? Doesn't sound like he's doing too well, those medical conditions he didn't wanna talk about in the interview seem very serious.

I'm assuming Noel wasn't really considering "Show Me The Treasure" as a valid album title. Sounds like something he would come up with just for the hell of it (or because he was really stuck for ideas), and not as a serious thing. I can just see him shouting SHOW ME THE TREASURE!!! in that self-mocking way of his.  It'd be funny to see the entire list of album titles Noel came up with. I think an interviewer should prod Noel to reveal some more of them (but knowing Noel, he might just make up some more off the top of his head...) |

Knowing Noel he knew he was having dinner with Bono and did not have a proper name for the album. From there being as lazy as he is he thought of the worst name possible knowing Bono would think of a good one.

Chasing Yesterday has actually really grown on me. Not the most original title, but he could have had worse, as evident by some of these ideas coming out.
