I don't understand why so many people like this song. This song does NOTHING for me. It doesn't have a great melody, it kind of just wanders along. I think it's one of Oasis' worst tunes. What am I missing?

it kind of just wanders along. What am I missing? there's a lot of other songs from newer bands that work like that..'Salvation' by BRMC for instance... the magic of these kinds of songs happen with the atmosphere they create not necessarily by providing a mindblowing guitar solo etc etc.. and remember: heathen chemistry was recorded at a time when noel's doctrine was "keep it simple" i agree in so far that a climax is missing in the song. other than that it's a paradigm for psychedelic rock'n'roll.

I got to like it more when I heard it live. The guitar solo is fantastic.

I think this song is great. both studio and live version. I prefer listen to it in dark room, no lights on. Great vibes there. I love the part when the song really kicks in after guitar solo. and liams vocals are quality.
