womc.cbslocal.com/2015/02/11/rolling-through-detroit-this-time/We just got off the phone with Ronnie Wood, and the guitarist has told us exclusively that The Rolling Stones will be touring North America in June and July. He says the plans were finalized earlier this month at a band meeting in New York. These will be their first U.S. dates since 2013.

I hope they come to my hometown, I'd love to be able to see the Stones play even though I know what they will likely play. I'd love to hear more albums tracks especially from Exile, Sticky Fingers, Beggars, Some Girls. You'd think they'd be sick of ending sets for decades with 'Satisfaction'.
I imagine tickets will be pretty costly...

funny how times change man inflation cant be blamed or cost of living , its just ludicrous the amount concert tix have rose in 81 I saw both THE STONES AND VAN HALEN I have since never missed a tour by either back then for the best seats in the msg I PAID 8 bucks a ticket 16 for 2 and they were younger played over 3 hours each and the times were so much more lenient anything went inside arena drug and booze wise as long as there were no fights as the years went prices have gotten higher and higher , now i am about to pay around 400 for VH tix this saturday for best seats and more than that for the stones is it worth it ?? realistically probably not because both were in there prime back then , but is it a must see no matter ? for me YES THE STONES are worth every penny as are VH , sometimes you gotta just suck it up mseeing mick and keef live is something every rock fan should witness at least once i dont like getting old ( beats a dirtnap tho ) and for 3 hours at least when mick struts the stage and keef playes that guitar ciggarette dangling I am 16 again . so its worth every penney ROCK ON boys .time may not be on your side anymore but you still rock with the best of them

Might have to shell out a few for this. I've yet to see the Stones and Sticky Fingers is probably my favorite album from them, but damn don't know how much i can afford to pay to see a bunch of 70 year olds flop about. For being as young as I am (in my 20's) I've seen a fair share of the classic legends - Neil Young, Ringo, Bacharach, Willie Nelson, Roger Daltrey, Elton John, and Plant.
Most of the time its been great but sometimes its been terrible (Willie). Still to say that you saw these people regardless of whether or not they were in their "prime" is something that is special.

The idea of the Stones touring the U.S. in the summer is great. The idea of paying astronomical prices for a ticket are not cool.
