The score is weird, but the review itself is a tragedy. Completely off about pretty much every song it describes...

It's a fair score. Generous even. The first album was a 7/10 and this one is 6/10. There are far too many songs on this album that are absolutely terrible.
In The Heat Of The Moment The Right Stuff The Mexican
All terrible.

Hello! This is my very post here but I was planing on joining since quite a while, never got why I did it just now. However, something caught up my attention! Isn't it weird that the NME always shoves their album reviews up everyone's throat under the tag 'theNMEveredict' but haven't done that this time? It is kinda odd, especially with such a silly review...

Their writers are probably just out of school tbh, especially on the .com . I dont know how they hire people, but the stories are getting worse each day

There are far too many songs on this album that are absolutely terrible. There are far too many trolls on this forum that are absolutely terrible. you call someone a troll for his different opinion? if someone likes the new Noel album he/she s ok, but if he/she gives it a 6/10 verdict and say that the album has a few terrible songs, you call him/her a troll? !!! i suppose that everyone has the right to say something here, without the fear to call them "trolls" or "absolutely terrible" and the post from the therobohump member, you can hardly call it trolling or absolutely terrible also.

But last time around they dedicated a whole section of their HomePage to their veredict on HFB1, so one would expect now to be the same, but this time they don't even have it linked on their Twitter Or Facebook, it's all weird!

Not trying to be a d*** as I just arrived here but... Why do you always write dramatic posts? You get equally defensive and mad when someone says Beady Eye were shit... And at the end of the day, as you said it yourself, It's just a matter of tasta and opinion.

The amount of shit Beady Eye get here is definitely bigger than Noel. Just search past threads when DGSS and BE got released and you'll get an idea.

Anyone getting "File Not Found" for the NME Review Link?
Did the tossers at NME read this forum, and realize their 7/10 was fucking misguided and pulled the review?

Apparently it is out today in print version ( I have only seen the cover in their website). I guess they uploaded it to the website in advance by mistake, since I think in NME the reviews always come out in print first. Probably it will be in the cover of the web edition in a couple of days

i used to love reading the NME but the amount of shit they print and post on their website is beyond crap. I can't help but think their writers and editors are either braindead or coldplay fans, probably both

Have you not seen this person's contribution to this forum? Signs up and every post is a critical one. Maybe he/she is a genuine fan that never signed up to this forum, despite lurking and being a big enough fan to download the leak. Or, it's a jealous existing user who signed up a new account just to troll this section and to put a downer on the goodwill surrounding the album. Which do you think is the most likely scenario?

Still can't believe they're obsessed with Noel and post everything about him, and then give him a 7 out of 10. WTF NME.
