Rock n' Roll Star is possibly the best song to end a gig on I'd never want to see it droped. I'd like to see them start playing step out again

I was never the biggest fan of Hindu Times and I would never, ever get rid of Rock & Roll Star, but apart from that I agree with your list.

I'd love to hear Noel do a 3 song acoustic set again..
D'Yer Wannabe A Spaceman? Take Me Away and possibly a new one on acoustic, like Part of the Queue or say It's Getting Better Man on acoustic.

I'd like to see Headshrinker played more. I'm sure I read somewhere that it's one of the most popular tracts with the American fans.

Fade Away Columbia Whatever (It's Good) To Be Free Cast No Shadow Stay Young Fade In-Out All Around The World The Hindu Times Stop Crying Your Heart Out (if Liam can sing it)
Seen enough of:
Supersonic Wonderwall (never liked the electric version anyway) Roll With It Some Might Say
And if we're having an acoustic set (yes please!!):
Half The World Away Talk Tonight D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman? One Way Road (You've Got) The Heart Of A Star

I wouldn't mind a new introduction as well. Maybe time for a new instrumental?

please, for the love of god, drop C&A. I think I can honestly say that they've played that song at not only every show I've been to, but every one they've ever done. At least it seems that way...

Agree!!! Enough of C&A!!! I think they could bring back Slide Away instead of Wonderwall (I bet the fans would be much happier!), and maybe Roll With It used to be ace live... oh also Gas Panic! or D'You Know What I Mean? cos' they have those amazing solos... and OF COURSE bring back the acoustic sets! It would be great to hear Don't go Away by Noel or Part Of The Queue on an acoustic guitar.... also hope he keeps playing The Masterplan the same way they did in the DBTT tour, it sounded amazing

Agrred, forget Cigarettes and Alcohol. Bring back Slide Away, The Hindu Times, D'You Know What I Mean?, Hello, It's Getting Better(Man!!), Be Here Now, All Around The World, and Born On A Different Cloud! An acoustic set would also be nice.

I wouldn't be bothered if i didn't hear these in a while..... Don't Look Back in Anger Rock n' Roll Star Champagne Supernova Cigarettes & Alcohol 'Don't Look Back in Anger' has been played to death but everytime Noel plays it, its usually the one song you remember. I would love to hear 'Its Getting Man' and 'Stay Young.'

I think Noel doing an acoustic set half way through would get my vote. Last time he did this was on the Heathen Chemistry UK December tour, when he played a cracking version of 'Wonderwall'. I think Talk Tonight should get a shout, along with Whatever and possibly Don't Go Away.

Dropped:
Cigs & Alc (the only one I think which was played each and every gig...) Little By Little Morning Glory Bring It On Down
Don't wanna see a reintroduction:
Roll With It Stop Crying Your Heart Out (Liam has a tendency to butcher it live)
Reintroduced:
Slide Away (Noel acoustic version) Stand By Me She's Electric Half The World Away Headshrinker

zak should work on LF's and DLBIA's drumming. I love the way he plays the faster songs but the way he plays the balladas is just appaulling.

personaly i would like to see the swamp song return as an intro- the duelling guitars would be immense with both gem and noel rather than with just noel and bonehead- also with zak's drums it would be amazing. fuckin in the bushes is a bit tired now. we have to consider that there'd have to be about 5 new songs in a set-list, so my ideal DBTT set list would be;
1.-Swamp Song 2.-Supersonic 3.-Roll With It 4.-Lyla 5.-A Bell Will Ring 6.-The Masterplan 7.-Little By Little 8.-Cigarettes and Alcohol 9.-D'You Know What I Mean 10.-Gas Panic! (with extended jam thing)
(acoustic set) 11.-The Importance Of Being Idle 12.-Let There Be Love 13.-Whatever
(encore) 14.-Champagne Supernova 15.-Don't Look Back In Anger 16.- Live Forever 17.-Rock N'Roll Star
I think that the encore should have the classics; I think it provides an excellent climax to the show, personally I think acquiesce is dead: compare the G-Mex 97 version to the manchester 05 version and it just isnt working with liam's voice. I think that it's a good idea to re-work the newest songs saying as they would be getting radio airplay anyway, much like the acoustic Don't Go Away on the '98 BHN tour.

as well as that, i just think variation is needed; the core four songs i had in the encore shoudl always be there, but the rest should be mixed around; in the last tour they never really bothered to change the setlist for months at a time, so for all fans with an interest in bootlegs etc, the gigs held very few surprises. the acoustic set is a place for much variation, considering how easy it wud be to vary between solo acoustic songs; things like it's better people, married with children, half the world away would be brilliant. mediocre songs from current albums eg. meaning of soul and songs that just don't work like turn up the suns shouldnt see the light of day.
