I saw the following on this wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatles_HaircutThis isn't correct right? If it is can someone direct me to a download of the songs? When Oasis performed their MTV Unplugged set on August 23, 1996, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, Noel Gallagher sang five Beatles' songs: "Octopus's Garden", "Day Tripper", "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away", "Come Together", and "I Am The Walrus"

No. I have a bootleg I bought in London that adds those Beatles' tracks - Day Tripper (with Paul Weller) and You've Got To Hide Your Love Away- to the Unplugged boot. It's just confusion. They're idiots though...

It appears on Ocean Colour Scene's B-sides, seasides and Free rides cd, so I am pretty postive. Liam and noel were in the audience at a OCS gig and some how they got them to come on stage....

I Am The Walrus was the live set closer in the early days. NOT at Unplugged.
Octopus's Garden was always tagged on the back of Whatever (like Up In The Sky was always tagged on to the end of Round Are Way). WAS at Unplugged.
YGTHYLA was on the Japanse B-side of Some Might Say (recorded for charity originally I think). NOT at Unplugged.
Day Tripper is definitely with OCS. NOT at Unplugged.
Come Together was with Weller (and McCartney, the Smokin' Mojo Filters). NOT at Unplugged.

Noel and Liam performed live with OCS covering Day tripper which was recorded live at the electric Ballroom on 9th May 1996.
Lisa Moorish is right "YGTHYLA was on the Japanse B-side of Some Might Say". It was recorded to promote world Aids day around Nov 1995. The recording was either played on bbc radio 1 or noel played it live acoustic on bbc radio but i'm not sure. i think radio 1 just played a recording of it.
again lisa moorish is right "Come Together was with Weller and McCartney" they used the name "the Smokin' Mojo Filters". this track was recorded on 1st september 1995 and releaed on the warchild or help charity album

I Am The Walrus was the live set closer in the early days. NOT at Unplugged. Oasis closed there set with I am the Walrus on the Brotherly Love Tour as well... I was always a little disspointed with Come together... would have liked to hear a little bit more Noel.
