God, I've already spent £260 for Albert Hall tickets for next month. This is so good, I'm going to have to buy reseller £200 tickets for my local arena too.

Who played the guitar on the record? Can't believe it's noel, some parts of The Mexican and Right Stuff are too good. Paul Stacey, who is a fucking hero. Did Noel play anything or what

Woke up absolutely wrecked, and this has really been one hell of a hangover cure. Still too early for me to know just how much I love this album, but I know I do. It's got the energy the first album was lacking, but keeps up the quality of the tunes. Wish I had more time to sit around and listen to it, instead of rushing for a train. Although hopefully I won't be stinking and it won't be bound for Norway...

I caved in and listened to it. Can't say I'm overly impressed at the moment - but then I wasn't too impressed with BOTMI when I first heard it and now I think its great. Guess it'll be a grower.

Such a great night last night. Just happened to check the forum before I was about to hit the sack and noticed five new pages had cropped up in ten minutes. Knew something was up!
I think what comes across on this album is the ease of the hooks. Even Noel's best work of the 2000s, good as it was, sounded like a lot of effort. SCYHO sounded abit like Noel was forced at gunpoint to write a hit.
But this album sounds like its the 90s again, where Noel barely had to try-its just pouring out of him.

You Know We Can't Go Back has to be a BHN leftover right?

You Know We Can't Go Back has to be a BHN leftover right? He had a song with a similar title in 1999. I Gotta Get It Back or something similar. You could be right.

I'm actually laughing at how early it's leaked. I'm going to hold out until the official release, I'm listening to The Dying of The Light and then I'm stopping myself.

After a quick listen to the tracks I hadn't heard yet, I hereby announce I shall be blocking every member who remotely suggests an Oasis reunion might be a good idea. Fucking hell, best thing this guy has done in 20 years. This is going to sound unbelievable live. I got tired of reading the 30 pages I missed during the night, but I can't agree more with this. Fuck the Oasis reunion!

This just keeps getting better man the more I listen.
Riverman has a slight feel of Better man for me. Brit award contender? Not that I give a toss but it would be good to break the monotony.

Genuinely gonna consider editing out the 1,2,3,4 intros myself. So fucking annoying and unimaginative.

The Girl With X-Ray Eyes = Hotel California + The Masterplan + Space Oddity + Stairway To Heaven
I really like this track. He's taken elements from the above songs and created this nice little tune.

Paul Stacey, who is a fucking hero. Did Noel play anything or what That's good though He's not good enough to play those guitar effects on The Mexican, The Right Stuff and While the Song Remains the Same!
