Hey, my fiance and me are moving to Tokyo for 6 months. We're landing at Haneda on the 30th of March and we'll be renting a flat in Shinjuku, near the station.
Let me know if you wanna have a pint or something with us - a couple of gaijins.
Btw, anyone going to Budokan on April 15th?

I've been to Tokyo many times as I have family overthere. Tokyo is a very exciting city, but at same time very organized. The last time I was there was 2 years ago. I saw The Stone Roses at Sonic Mania (a festival in midnight). I also saw Oasis in Tokyo back in 2005. Shinjuku is similar to Soho in London, but much more pubs, bars, a lot of shops, restaurants etc and very very busy. You'll love your stay in Tokyo, but there's also lots of small streets in Tokyo with old wooden houses, tiny shops where a grandmum selling cigarettes or candies. I love Japan. People there are really polite and very helpfull. Foods are great and perfect public transport which never delay. Safe journey and have lots of wonderful times together with your fiance!
