Demon Days was my favourite album from the 2000s (along with Franz Ferdinand's debut) and the first and third ones are quality too.

I love Gorillaz but nah don't be silly now. Demon Days was a masterpiece and it's up there with anything he did with Blur, I think its one of the best albums of the last 25 years. Good to hear they are getting together as I thought Plastic Beach was very underrated and overlooked on its release. |

Despite not caring for White Flag, Broken or Sweepstakes I thought Plastic Beach was a success. Plenty of the groups best and most interesting material was on it. I don't know if Doncamatic was produced in a later session but it would have been a great addition to it and would have fit in perfectly stylistically. Good album.
The Fall however wasn't great.

Cant wait. Love everything damon has done over the past 15 years. Except his weird chinese opera, but even that had some "gorillaz" moments. The good the bad and the queen is great too. A bit like a stripped down version of the gorillaz.
Plastic beach is one of my favourite albums. Bring it!

Been recently going on a Blur/Gorillaz binge, and honestly, Damon has made some amazing stuff in his career. Now if only the Gallagher brothers were this adventurous!  |
